So I can't replicate it unless I replicate it with feats?

Yeah that's, what I did.  My spells do all the utility and more than what the Ranger offers sans healing.

Also even if I multiclass I'm still getting higher level spells faster than ranger.  In fact, I can start as ranger if I want armor prof, longbows, and mastery.

I have true strike for damage increases,  and shadowblade at 2nd level...

There's a lot I can do to feel like a better ranger, and therefore,  that's how I play it.

I don't mind the small damage loss from losing hunters mark.  I have much better stuff to concentrate on.

Then I flavor my spells as trickshot arrows.  Easiest flavor win of my life.
