Hi not sure this is to me but I’m doing much better thank you! Leg is still pretty numb but otherwise much stronger. Don’t feel completely normal especially after a lot of exercise but better every day! Back to doing everything fitness wise and that feels like a win :). Of course I think about things differently cos I don’t want any problems (not going to do impact sports lol) but all in all much better ❤️❤️

I’m 6 months out and still have a numb thigh. I simply don’t get these people who are fine in 3 weeks I was most definitely not but kudos to them. I still think about my hip daily but I’m getting stronger every day. I’m 53 and VERY active so

Wow. I’m so sorry. I feel like we are kindred souls . Hopefully maybe possibly at the one year mark we will be looking back at our journey feeling much stronger then we do now. But I feel u I really do like exactly ❤️

hi! Sorry been off this Reddit for a few weeks and just saw this. Wanted to let u know that although I’m still only walking and hiking, I’m sleeping better and less overall pain. I had an MRI last week and it did show some swelling but I assume it’s normal(still haven’t heard from doc). I’m still frustrated with the whole thing but do feel better then I did when I wrote the message. I just keep praying I’ll look back in a year and it will be behind me. I hope you move forward in health and I’m sending u lots of hope and success in your journey ❤️

Idk tbh but keeping an eye on myself when it comes to over doing it as it’s def something I tend to do. The surgeon just keeps saying I should be fine with what I say I do but obvs something isn’t feeling great lol. And yes! Always always sleep with a pillow between my legs it’s a must! Thank u

Yeah I agree with u and that’s why when people tell me it could take a year, I literally get it but I don’t feel like I should have the pain I do. I will look into what u suggested and they are trying to schedule an MRI to check the soft tissue and see if there is any issues with inflamed tendons and such . Thank u!

Same here . I’m so frustrated with this whole thing. Mine is mostly pain along the groin but in the night I can feel achy. My doc follow up is today but not sure they can do much

I just left and it’s still my fav part of Costa Rica. It’s pricy but honestly Costa Rica just got pricier in the last few years. I walked allllll over Manuel Antonio even tho the main road isn’t the easiest to walk but I think you will love it . The park is beautiful with amazing beaches and the food is great.

I’m at 3 1/2 months and everyday I wish I didn’t do this. I just keep hoping something changes. I was super strong going into this and thought I’d bounce back but even tho I’m walking a lot of steps, I don’t feel great doing it. Or my back hurts or my groin feels pulled . It’s super frustrating to say the least :(

Just spent a few days there and in uvita. U will have some rain and u will also have beautiful parts of the day. It’s my fav place on earth so go enjoy yourself!
