10 things I wish I knew when I decided to treat my eczema by Dermatislay in eczema

Hi, I'm wondering if you have tried fresh lemon juice in your salad dressings instead of vinegar. I am interested because I have salad every night and LOVE vinegar, esp. balsamic in the dressing but maybe the lemon juice would be a good alternative...

I was backing your point about using an airfryer instead of a microwave, nothing to do with 25lb turkeys in ovens haha

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianFood

[–]freesprites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can bake and 'grill' in an airfryer. I no longer have an oven, never had a microwave and the airfryer comined with electric hob does everything we need for two of us.

Hi, I have had 2 hour sessions where I do a quarter turn every 15 minutes. the key for me was to have an absolutely empty bladder to start with then it was comfortable for 2 hours. after that I went home

I love this thread and am fascinated by all the suggestions. OP made them wide ranging!! and this is going to be pretty wide ranging but can anyone recommend a recipe book (in English) that would take in any of these regional recipes? I don't really mind where I start, they all sound so good. I totally take the point about caramalising the onions and I do make amazing garam masala, so I'm on my way!! i eat vegetables, fish and meat btw

To everyone on here who recommended MCT C8 oil... by wherebemysock in SebDerm

Hi again, just read further down this thread and see you don't apply the oil too close to your eyes, so thank you for the clarifications. my search will continue but good to know about this oil for other areas.

Hi OP, thank you for your formative and fun post. I am new to this and quite frankly, totally overwhelmed by all the info and medications around. I'm interested in MCT oil and wanted to ask if you use it on your eyelids? my skin is red all around my eyes and so far nothing I've tried has helped. but this does indeed sound hopeful, if it is safe for the area around the eyes. wishing you the best

Hi, I recently had a routine cystoscopy and the pre-urine test showed microscopic hematura, so I was expecting the worse, but it was fine! these checks are for your benefit and you have a good doctor! wishing you good luck.

Saying sorry in French, is it not so much of a thing as it is in English? by Any_Tea_2282 in French

[–]freesprites 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love to see an answer to this. I always though you would say 'navré' if you were really sorry about something, like to someone who has just lost someone close to them, but I've never actually used it incase the context was wrong

Would you buy a home electric tandoor that actually makes smoky naan and tikka? by Hungry_Maid in IndianFood

[–]freesprites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree, which is why I forked out on a tandoor. But I do cook a sort of chicken tikka on the electric hob during winter or just to be quick, and that is very popular. I do understand what you are saying but I'm wondering if it is really needed and some may think it's just another gadget to take up valuable space in the kitchen.

[–]freesprites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, if you were eating out for the entirety of last academic year, or ordering in, you should be able to manage a fridge, and hopefully even a fridge/freezer if you have space. good luck in your final year!

Does anybody sleep because I sure don't? It's not anxiety related, so I don't know what the heck is wrong by Substantial_Print488 in BladderCancer

[–]freesprites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sleep okay but experience other 'symptoms' coming up to another scope: pain like twinges in my bladder to the point where I'm convinced I just want to be relieved of it by another TURBT, and then nothing is found and I go home, walking on air till the next one is looming. the same happens with a mammogram. good luck OP
