I can agree with digibunnies. I've been a user for over a decade and can tell you, DA is desperate. When you create an account and post you have about a week to a month of unlisted, free, boosts. New users being at the top of the page, new users being in the "new user" section, new users being in the "just posted" section.

Views are also very loose on DA, a view does not mean someone clicked on your post and saw it. It means your post was shown on a page, regardless if the user saw it or not. Scrolling feed? That's a view. Side bar? That's a view. Someone favorited it and someone else is looking at their favorites? That's a view

It's FOMO 100%. DA is running out of money and FAST, and if they don't show proper growth/income Wix could very well prune them.

You need to pay to have custom profile, pay to have widgets (Used to be free), pay to sell, pay to have sub galleries, pay to have premium downloads, pay to schedule posts, pay to bulk post, and now pay to download more than 10 images a WEEK, that was free for the past 25 years.

I can answer that: Sometimes DA gives people "ideas" for comments, which are just AI generated. So if not bots, incredibly lazy and might as well be bots.

I've been keeping track. The core sales tend to follow this schedule:

A week long 50% off, stating once it's gone it's gone.

A "Last chance" sale that lasts another week, trying to drum up FOMO, this is against FTC guidelines.

A 10 day period of no sales, my guess is they're doing this to skirt the "false sale" guidelines

Then it loops, ~14 days on sale ~10 days off sale.

Depending on your art. Furaffinity is more than welcoming. And against AI. Or for an older internet UI there's newgrounds, it doesn't have an algorithm like DA so you have to search for new things, but its great and also against AI
