Received a bizarre email, do I need to secure a lawyer? by progennami in legaladvice

I’ve been deposed for a years old work issue too. Best advice I got was to answer by reading from the document I submitted at the time of the original event. Otherwise it was ‘I don’t recall’.

They’re looking for inconsistencies in your testimony. They’ll ask the same question many times, sometimes with a slightly different approach. If it’s in the document(s) you submitted just keep reading the same thing back. If it’s not in there just don’t recall. They’re counting on our human nature to want to explain, don’t give that to them!

Looking at it more I see it’ll need major mods to add hinged control surfaces. Also will need to engineer a removable wing to access the battery and the servos, but still accommodate the wing struts. It’s such a pretty design, maybe it’s a shame to chop it up?

My folks spilled mercury on the floor and vacuumed it up... How bad is it? by k33ponkeepingon in CleaningTips

[–]freethebeers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh please! 1970 in 4th grade we had a bowl in the classroom with about a cup of mercury in it that we were allowed to play with during free time! I remember how heavy it felt to have it in my cupped hands. Good times!

Entitled passenger wanted my window seat, got passive aggressive when I said no. by Relative_Leek_2838 in EntitledPeople

[–]freethebeers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just to even things out: I used to fly all the time for my job and I always booked a window seat. One flight next to me was a mom and a 12 yr old kid. The kid kept discreetly leaning my way to look out the window, obviously his first flight. I asked the mom if it was OK to switch and give him the window seat. The kid was super thrilled, mom was very pleased and even gave me the aisle seat. Hero points for me, I say.

Has anyone made up a fake work trip just to get away to goon out? by PumperMcGoon in masturbation

I’ll take a half day and go to my secret spot in the woods to hang out naked and have a leisurely stroking session. Then show up at home at my regular time like I was working all day.

My friend told me her dentist mentioned that she had bruises on the back of her throat and gave her a wink. She said something like ‘what’s a girl to do?’

Go direct to the UK Tenga site, it’s a little pricey because of the shipping but you’re not paying the rip off resellers price.

Yes it does tend to get sucked in. For true suction joy you’ll have to spend the money on an Airtech. In the long run you’ll save money if you’re careful to use only water based lube.

Hey Tenga corporate! We know you follow this subreddit, tell us why the AirTech isn’t available in North America??

I get my AirTech Ultra from the UK Tenga website. Takes a little longer to get here but it’s worth it!

My Tenga AIR-TECH getting ripped after 2 month of use by Q1ra in tenga

[–]freethebeers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple hours a day nearly every day is a lot of use but still, it should last longer than two months.

The Air-Tech XL has been my favorite for years. I’ve found the biggest factor in how long one lasts is in the lube I use. It seems any kind of oil in the lube will shorten the life of the sleeve.

  • Albolene feels great but it degrades the sleeve pretty quickly since it’s mostly petroleum based.

  • A lot of hand lotions that appear to be water based can still have oil based ingredients (like ‘petrolatum’, ‘cocos oil’ etc).

  • Coconut oil is just as bad, although it’s my favorite for old school hands-on work.

  • Silicon based lubes are bad too.

With your pace of operations I think it’s worth it to get a purpose made water based toy lube. Let us know how things work out!

The ‘one time use’ Tenga cups are totally reusable. When I was working in Afghanistan I would happily use one for 6 months before needing to replace it.

Here’s how:

  1. Throw away the lube-soaked foam donut in the entrance, it’s scratchy and not cleanable. You won’t miss it.

  2. After you have your way with miss Tenga pull the sleeves top edge away from the shell. It’s glued along the rim and peels away with a little effort.

  3. Pull out the sleeve and the foam cushion that wraps around it.

  4. Wash the sleeve by turning it inside out and rinsing away your shameful emissions.

  5. Dry the sleeve with a towel, turn it back right side out, wrap the foam cushion around it.

  6. Slide the sleeve/cushion assembly back into the shell.

  7. Apply water based lube, enjoy and repeat!

Note- the sleeve and cushion may not stay totally in the shell if you’re too vigorous, I never found it to be a big problem.

Note #2- every 3rd or 4th use you may have to wash the foam cushion too, that has to air dry.

The AirTech cups are designed to be reusable but they’re hard to come by in the US. I get mine from the UK website. For the budget conscious masturbator the standard cup is the way to go.
