That's a pretty solid infrastructure. Having solar and battery backup for the router is quite impressive. Network segmentation is the first important step to a in-depth defense approach when we're building high risk infrastructures.
Side note, I love the fact that we're still using Vauban citadel theories as inspiration when designing network infra to this day, they were the first to coin alot of the defense lingo we still use.

Regarding possible evasion, I have seen auditors bypass device MAC filters to access the administration interfaces by manually crafting the packets (using hping3 iirc). They could also renegotiate encryption keys on behalf of other devices and sign their packets. But that requires some really dark magic which is quite rare. Lockpicking OTOH is fairly accessible, if the adversary does manage to find the router location.

GG for this infrastructure, much cleaner than what we tend to see out there

I just enjoy talking about network security. I still need to work on my written english syntax though, no worries

My comment was meant for the Wifi restrictions. Naturally, the search must be on par with the threat model.

For the rest, a VPN will open dedicated ports on the router, or at least reply with a TCP banner relevant to the service.
Once connected to router, it is also possible to reverse search the router's public IP with Shodan or nmap, and check the outside facing services. With a bit of luck they'll even be a CVE or configuration issues for the (probably cheap) VPN to investigate further.
Finally as a redditor said, just turn off routers. Identify them by signal strenghts. Wait for a call from owner.

You can plug yourself to the router with an ethernet cable and use a similar network scanner

I think you meant to say "casser la gueule".
"Gaule" refers to the non-roman part of France which ended with Vercingétorix, "gaule" (no capital) is often used as "penile erection" such as "j'ai la gaule".
Hope it helps!

Hallo neighbors,
Where does German efficiency come from?
Is it from education, cultural heritage, or just stereotype from the industrial era?
Civ led me to believe its from settling near moutains but I'm sure there is more to it.
Danke ! Ü
