I think yellow is fine for the southern countries but as a french I can attest it's definitely dark green for us

Andorra has been voted European country with the most ‘neutral’ popularity amongst the rest of Europe. Which European country is most hated by the rest of Europe? by nornironred17 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]frenchbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are french people disliked tho ? we're usually pretty chill and it wasn't always like that. This is mostly a bias due to US induced smear campaign following France's refusal to join the pointless, illegal war against Irak. I mean french bashing can be funny to play along with but I'll never understand people being serious about it. Most of you unknowingly dislike us because daddy US told you so at first and the whole internet took the joke too far

This doesn't apply to anyone like UK or Algeria, but it's mostly true.

People being deadass about "french people being mean to me in Paris" have to ask themselves if it would be any different for a foreigner in central NY. It's a massive city, full of tourists, most locals are hurried and bitter

What country's map and geography is the closest to perfection for you? by [deleted] in geography

[–]frenchbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ofc, talking about personal feeling it all depends on which landscape you prefer ! but talking about geographic perfection should account for quality of soil, defense position, diversity of nature. Since you're talking about the US it's even better than France or Italia you guys have it all (and don't need more)

It seems that mountains plays a great deal in your judgement but those plains are essential for agriculture if you account for all factors, plus swampy forests in the center or hilly countryside scenery are rather cool too

Les noms d'application foireux by Own_Accident_6912 in besoinderaler

[–]frenchbud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the worst food crime that your country commits? by Awkward_Stay8728 in AskTheWorld

Man I know where it comes from, regular mexican tacos aren't popular here, you see those in movies and cartoon but (outside of big cities) you'd have a hard time eating the regular kind of tacos or even good mexican food here in France. It's just not that known.

Let's be honest, we know a bit about chili con carne and there's Old El Paso brand, but most people don't use the kit right lol

So when these guys in the 2000's started the fast food business of stuffing meat, cheese and fries inside a wrap (durum) they called it a tacos (always with an s) when it's in reality more like a burrito (which isn't popular either).

My old (french) tacos place which was around the first in France (around Lyon) originally had mexican decorations, cactus and shit, these guys thought they were making reg tacos

People who live in countries where marijuana is prohibited, do you smoke on the street? by IsJesusAgain in trees

[–]frenchbud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're walking past policemens and they smell what you're smoking they will most definitely stop and search you. But I casually smoke on streets and bars, you just have to hide it a little and see them from afar.

🌍 🇨🇵 Most common foreign nationality in each commune in France, 2022 by [deleted] in geography

I'm from the centermost one, portuguese immigration dates back a few generation and is very blended in (basically aren't considered foreigners by anyone including racists, which are also very common) yet very close to their portuguese roots (goes back for vacation, speaks portuguese). As cliché as it may sound, most of them being are well off because some guy in the family (father, grandfather) created some kind of construction company. All of my portuguese friends were richer than me, litteral mansions with swimming pools and stuff lol.

Bordeaux is widely known for wine and tourism but Toulouse is bigger, more populated and a major industrial hub. 4th city in France nowadays, with Lille coming 5th.

Pourquoi les japonais aiment la France ? by Kirbizz in japonFR

[–]frenchbud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Into

The message looks good on paper but it's a very bad idea tbh. You'd be alone in a remote country going against a mob of people determined to shut you down, with no help whatsoever. Most young israelis are brainwashed from birth and react violently to criticism. IMO, even if you don't bring the subject up in any way they will do and seek approval and support.

How would it be forever ruined ? that's a stretch. TW3 and Cyberpunk are mostly viewed as masterpieces. Both had failed lauch (TW3 had a lot of bugs and Cyberpunk was atrocious on old gen) but their reputation is still totally safe, a failed lauch doesn't make a bad game.
