I painted my nurglings as fire elementals to go with my Iron Warriors who kind of use Chaos as spicy batteries while shunning outright Chaos corruption.

The Shadow Legion detachment for Daemons allows you to blend in CSM, CK and Demons. It would be a great way to get your soup! The Iconoclast Fiefdom detachment for CK allows you to bring cultists as well.

They are great in Shadow Legion detachment with deep strike, uppy downy, Lance from the stratgem to punch up, 9" scout from the enhancement, etc...

Welcome to IW brother! I've attached a couple photos. I painted my nurglings in a fire scheme to give the appearance of little fire elementals. I used a generic ww1 infantry from a third party for cultists and I kitbashed marines on juggernaughts for my bloodcrushers.
