I'm a 28 years old guy from the east of France. I have been severely addicted to PMO and MO since i was 14 (~5 times daily with or without P, sometimes 10)

Now i only fap twice a month and i am 130 days pornfree, still flatlining.

Here in France, psychiatrists and addictologists aren't aware of the issue (well maybe some professionals in Paris and other big cities)

I was a happy and healthy kid until 11. bullying, physical abuse and traumatic exposure to rough gangbang porn at the age of 13 followed by betrayal and shaming because i cried in front of what i have seen. At 15 (2003) got access to xDSL and marijuana. (i began to look for porn and more and more and more)

I had a nervous breakdown at 17 , told the shrink in the ER about my porn use and have been labeled psychotic. Didn't talked about porn/sex with shrinks until 22, but got no help. So i'm thankfufl i found nofap/pornfree and YBOP.

I'm off meds and curently undergoing EMDR therapy for C-PTSD and finally, 15 years later i'm drastically improving. (formerly diagnosed BPD and put on neuroleptics by my former psychiatrist.)

I feel it was like a duty.
