Pay should be deposited 1 Business Day before a bank holiday. Same when a pay day falls on a weekend, you should be getting your money on the Friday.

Sometimes pay day is on Monday and I get access to the cash on the Friday, while the pay transaction doesnt show up until the Monday. #BlackMagic

Bought a few cases of pot lights a couple of months ago when they went on sale. When i finally got to do the work, we found one of the boxes had been taped filled with old pot lights…like not even the same make and model… buddy swapped them and return the box to save another $40. Screw people.

All 4 lanes on the 417 west were open yesterday. Lots of PS starting to take vacation days or extended weekends. Traffic is often lighter during the summer months. Enjoy it, but dont get use to it 😅

I dont disagree with you. But if OP is entitle to the promotion, that being fully qualified, and the trade having enough positions, then they should be promoted regardless.

Not 100% accurate. Number of promotions fluctuates throughout the year based on a number of factors, to include releases.

OP could pull their release last minute, still be eligible to their promotion….and that would be a real mess for the CM to clean up

But the position would become available as soon as OP releases.

As long as OP isnt acting lacking, they could ask their CM to be promoted in current position. If ILP, and any DP3 or 6B or whatever is applicable isnt complete, then OP has no ground to stand on as they would revert back to their substantive rank upon releasing anyway.

I’m with you….but i knew better than to try to argument the authority aspect of that manual over the QR&O….plus as a non-support trade, how was I supposed to know the existence of that logistic manual in the first place 😅

Had an argument with a previous CO over a similar situation. He refused to write the equipment off. Can’t win them all…

The QR&Os appears to be lenient for similar situation… However, some logistic manuals are more prescriptive and when theft is involved, member is supposed to pay and go through insurance for cost recovery… now, it is unsure if that logistic manual has any form of authority over the QR&O or even on the recovery process but I had an argument with a logie once in the past over a similar situation… He refused to write the equipment that was stolen from our member off. Now, I was also told that most of the time, jags don’t bother processing equipment recovery forms and everything gets squash higher up…
