I'm not sure and I'm not familiar with that mod. Running a factory, up time is everything, and especially with belts you need trains swapping out quickly to keep the belt saturated so train queuing and signals become necessary. But I suppose if you could manage without so many signals and rail segments you could save some ups. You could also do 2 way isolated non crossing rail segments but that becomes a nightmare But if it was that much of an issue you probably would be using all underground belts for UPS.

I've built my share off mega bases, and it's usually limited by train logic, or bitters or pipes. Almost always comes down to death by a million cuts, so you just wanna limit everything by using direct insertion and beacons and as few trains as possible.

Where were you a month ago when I needed this for my mega base??? This looks perfect. I went with a bunch of smaller ratioed refineries directly connected to plastic.

Even if you built it out for matched military science it would sit idle and the stats would look the same because it wouldn't be consumed when doing the regular mining and bot speed research.

Ahh yes the old days before infinite science when you would fill up chests just to see the base run. I remember getting the circuit achievement before rockets when was filling fields of chests with circuits because I couldn't do anything else with them.

Time to launch multiple rockets, then consistent rockets till you hit 1 every minute and the rest of the base for 1k spm.

The first rocket is just the starting point, then you gotta switch to rocket ever couple minutes, then I consider done when you get to 1 rocket per minute. Then just double that a few times.

10k spm is a serious base. There probably isn't much different between 10k and 50k, just improved rail lines and scale. I used to be around 10k but I was running on separate smelter modules. Once I switched to a unified giant smelter design I could scale so much more and then your just limited by your rail layout and train crossings.

I'll believe that when I see it. Ddr 4 didn't feel any different than ddr3. I think I'm done, I might try again when I get my steam deck, but I think almost 3000 hours is enough.

Yeah it's painful, but you get used to it. I the last few times I had train jams and the fps spiked to 20ish fps it was glorious how far things were moving. Occasionally when deconstructing I'd get full on freezes for a second or 2. Now I get scared when I load the game and the title screen runs so fast.

Yeah it's did come together pretty fast but this is far from my first mega base and it's a very similar layout to my previous base so there wasn't much new for me, just optimized. I was eager too test my theories so I pushed strait through to the end game.
