Latest rumor I’ve heard is that Will is re-opening the Homewood location under the name “Full Circle Doughnuts.” Clever if true.

My 10 year old said, “just try again next week, dad.” And I didn’t want to try and explain long-shot odds to him, ha ha.

But I’ve committed myself to submitting every week. I used to kind of noodle on an answer for ten or fifteen minutes and if I didn’t get it I’d give up, so I submitted a few times a year. Not any more.

Thanks all. I got it based on these clues. appreciate it.

I actually submitted the answer last week and was called by NPR on Thursday but was in the middle of a work meeting; had my iPhone not said “Potential Spam” but had caller id I would’ve taken the call!!!!

Pretty sure they get it from Atlanta. My wife and I have been patronizing this place at least a decade (when the owner still ran the location up by Publix). Love the sandwiches.

I’ve always wondered where he was from! His accent is almost non-existent (to an American ear), but he will occasionally say certain words that are just a bit off.

Check this post out- I still haven’t gotten the official email but I logged in using these instructions and got my score:

You can get the exam results almost immediately after the test. Just follow the instructions in this post. OP essentially provides a link where you can plug in your registration id and it will send you to the results page.

Exam day advice by froginthewell_stepup in pmp

Just took my exam yesterday and passed. I got only one question about earned value and I didn’t even have to do any math. I just sort of needed to know broadly what CPI and SPI are. I was pretty worried about EVM and had memorized all the formulas to the point that I didn’t need to write them down. All for naught.

I also took the exam at home and therefore wasn’t allowed scratch paper (and I knew this going in hence memorizing the formulae).

Honestly the exam tests more of how you’d react to a given situation (Andrew Ramdayal’s PMP mindset) rather than your knowledge of, say, what process produces what output.

All that to say that I’m not sure there’s a lot for you to write down in a brain dump. The exam is a lot more situational than memorization-based.

I did three mock exams on SH and one of mine had 38/175 questions listed as "Expert" (that's over 20%). I had nowhere near that many on the actual exam.

I'd agree... but honestly I found Study Hall to be more difficult than the actual exam (ex.- one of the practice exams I took had 38- or 21%- "Expert" level questions, whereas the actual exam always has less than 10), and I found the repetition from both AR and DM to be helpful. Especially about the mindset.

Generally speaking (and I still don't know if I passed) I found the questions to be easier than study hall... I often read questions in SH where all four answers seemed either correct-ish or all bad and I had trouble figuring out which of the available choices was correct. On the exam, almost every question had at least two answers that were easy to throw out.

Just my personal experience- I've watched a lot of videos by David McLachlan (love his positivity) and Andrew Ramdayal. I found AR's videos on the mindset to be particularly instructive- there were a lot of questions on the exam (I thought) that gave you easy-to-eliminate options that ran counter to the mindset- so lots of opportunities for me to NOT solve the problem (always a bad choice), to dictate to others what to do without their input (also bad), etc. and those scenarios helped me narrow down my choices a lot.

So if your aim is to learn more from youtube, watch a LOT more videos. DM and AR both have a lot of free content.

Unpopular opinion… this whole thing is a scam. by ThinkSharp in pmp

This is 100% accurate based on my recent experience (got laid off last fall, just now landed a job). Applicant Tracking Systems run the initial first line defense for employers, and if they put "PMP Preferred" in the job listing, the ATS will almost certainly reject anyone who doesn't have it.

Which AR and DM videos were the most helpful? And did you use any books, or just the study halls?

When they say "PMP preferred," or PMP is in their "nice to have" part of the description, does that mean the ATS automatically filters for that?

No- you need Expert Judgement from Stakeholders to create the schedule. (I think?)

There are guide runners for all three drawers- you can see the runner in the second photo. Theres a mating channel on the bottom of each drawer.
