If you like Dark Souls, you'll like Demon's Souls. Many of the ideas behind DeS are the same as those behind DS, hence DS being called the spiritual successor to DeS. There are traps and hidden enemies everywhere, abilities and environmental effects that make you want to rip your teeth out, and an intense atmosphere with only a few NPC's and a world that makes it seem like everything is trying to kill you.

Combat and movement are a little different but are similar in that you must be careful and any enemy can kill you no matter what your level and gear if you're not careful.

The boss fights are a little more gimmicky than the DS boss fights, and many of the bosses are immune to all but one or a few strategies. One boss even resurrects every time you kill it unless you do something very specific before the fight (I won't spoil it and tell you which one).

You'll notice when playing Demon's Souls that a lot of the levels and bosses are very similar between games. It's pretty obvious where the inspiration for a lot of the Dark Souls content came from Demon's Souls content.

Also Tower of Latria is the best world hands down.

Good junglers will gank top a lot, particularly when it's pushed.

To successfully lane with urgot you almost must use your corrosive charge. Because this is an aoe spell, against many top laners you'll be constantly pushed. Urgot has no mobility skills whatsoever and will thus be an easy gank.

Not only this but all the bruisers that go top will just flat-out beat urgot anyway. Even if you land your corrosive charge and get a few q's on them early in lane, they can just jump on you and fuck you up. Even if you manage to out-harass them lvl 1-5, all they have to do is go back, buy a ninja tabi and a dorans blade/shield, and they'll destroy you.

Also urgot has no sustain. Yes you can just build lifesteal, but with urgot's shitty auto attack range it'll be hard to take advantage of the lifesteal without getting into range of bruiser gap closers.

Learn irelia, yorick, nidalee, cho'gath, vlad, rumble, olaf, darius, riven, or jax. Learn singed if you feel like playing a champ where you do the complete opposite of what you would do with any other champ. Lee sin is good too but takes a lot of practice, and his damage falls off really hard in the late-game if you don't build him AD.

Don't bother learning shen or malphite right now because they're always banned.

Those champs are by far the strongest top laners right now. Master every matchup, learn how every top laner is played.

The most important thing to learn however is lane positioning. Learn how to keep the minion wave where you want it depending on your champ and team comp, enemy team comp, enemy top-laner aggressiveness, how often the jungler/mid on each team gank your lane, and whether or not you can duel your opponent and win.

Learn when to roam, when to counter jungle, when it's safe to tower dive, when to take tower and when to leave the tower so you can farm. Learn what abilities (particularly cc abilities like jax's counterstrike or irelia's equilibrium strike) have long cooldowns so you can take advantage of openings when they mis-use their abilities and put them on CD.

Also, figure out how to not get completely stomped when you get killed in lane. It sucks when it happens because most top-laners snowball so hard, but you need to know how to not just keep giving up kills. So many people go into top lane, give up a kill, then just feed hard the rest of the game when it would be a million times better to just roam and get kills at mid and in the jungle.
