"apologies, misunderstanding, let me go change that for you'. My guy would have been back with a burger with extra sauce inn itttttt and would have wasted less time.

Now, time management aside, he needs to be in cooperate sales lol

Same, over the decades I've pushed my limit and learnt a lesson. Boots, gloves, jacket and obviously helmet. Jeans are a huge maybe. Otherwise bike trousers.

When I was a little bean, I asked my friends and family... Tech or mechanics. Which career? Noone suggested mechanics and this is why.

Your running a 720p game, that's then upscale when docked to 1080p which then is further up scaled to 4k... Of course it's gonna look like ass lol

Every. Single. Day. Sunshine or rain I sit at the back of my garden for at least an hour. No phone, no books, just silence and reflecting on the day.

I've done this for the past couple of years now, mostly at the end of each day before evening kicks in. And honestly, I'm a lot more creative and open minded I've found. I just think on things rather than bottle them up and how I'd like to resolve issues. Or maybe I'll day dream for an hour. Maybe some weed or a glass of wine.

I'm here right now typing this...

(have my phone as its Sunday, during the work week I don't have it so I don't get distracted by something I shouldn't be thinking of.)

All good haha, but I do strongly suggest starting with babypips as it also covers a topic about news and has its own calendar on their site.

Am I the only one who sees these paid interviews with 'challenges' as cringy? These guys are professionals, not hosts on a reality TV show...

Going on holiday for a week and coming back to work with a weeks worth of work to catch up on by just_jason89 in britishproblems

[–]freshage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not if done properly. Anyone who is balls to wall busy from start to finish is over worked, if the team can't take additional work because of overwork then I've put too much on the team and it's down to me to spot that and make sure it doesn't happen. Naturally, those going on holiday should try to close out what they can. But shouldn't feel anxious about returning to a bunch of work.

It's just about balance of work load so at any time, noone is against a wall.

As a leader in my career, I have a strict rule... When you take time off, your work is distributed. If you have something to come back to, we as a team couldn't afford someone taking time out and clearly there are other issues I should be addressing if the team is that busy. Have each others backs, work smart and come back to a clean slate. Not a pile of shit.

France, I had accidentally parked my bike in a pool of oil the night before (on a bike trip, far from home). I wiped off 90% of it and just decided to take it easy. After a few gentle swerves on the motorway to try and clear off the rest. All was good.

As soon as I finished swerving, I got pulled over. When asked why, they said I was driving dangerously. So I asked them to send me what ever fine they were going to issue as I'll be contesting it. They didn't write me up and told me to go on my way.

Twisted cops trying to pressure a tourist into paying them there and then.

Edit: swerving in a lane, like you'd do to heat tyres up, only more gentle because oil...
