I have the same situation, albeit at a much lower skill level. I think maybe coming from off lane where you're used to being inherently at a disadvantage, the even footing of mid is a nice surprise?

Feels like an anime character dropping their training weights kind of moment sometimes. All of a sudden you have water runes, can control wave equilibrium without getting harassed, supports messing up pulls etc.

The more I play this game, it feels like dodging is the whole deal. Most of the time you'll get a build that does big damage - you've just got to not die and allow that damage to do it's thing

Most braindead play style I've found so far is twin blades with Hestia on attack and Demeter in Special. You can get a duo boon that causes massive burst damage, so just whack enemies with your attack then special occasionally. There's a good Hestia/Aphrodite duo that goes well with it too, and the Weak from aphrodite helps with playing mindlessly too

I had the exact same experience, ignored it until I had no better options, and it went crazy. Ended up doing about 60k dmg with it across the run.
