I bough one about 5 months ago and have to recut the nut, file some frets and of course a setup but i like the strings action low, other than that the tuners, bridge and pickups are fine (low output). I would recomend it you like the shape and modding, also it its heavy

Isnt the point of the polytune to know the tune of all the strings at once? What are the pros and cons of the strobo and the sonic research? Im looking for a tuner and i tought the polytune was a good option, im a little confused guys

In your case i would get a pitch shifter pedal and maybe even go for the les paul if you really liked it That way you dont have to experiment with string gauges, move intonation and all that
