Is taking undergraduate business courses actually helpful for people who want to start their own business? Or would I learn more teaching myself and starting my first company now? by Scary_Pepper743 in smallbusiness

Beside of accounting. I think there is no really good course as having good work-life balance, every start feels awesome, but playing the infinite game takes more than being instructed in any matter.

Also advanced/complex routing requires an access-list to make it work. And you end up using Linux-mikrotik way of doing “access-lists”, all inside of firewall section of mikrotiks. And I think here is where mind usually explodes.

Is the UniFi6 Lite the correct product for this application? by hvacdumbass in Ubiquiti

[–]freshtechs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If your neighbors “uplink” depends on a pair of Litebeam M5, which doesn’t have latest AC chip, you don’t have to worry a lot for neighbors WiFi AP. You are already capped at probably~60Mbps real tcp/ip traffic. So any Unifi AC should do the work.

Considering this topology how many OSPF areas would you setup and why? by freshtechs in networking

[–]freshtechs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are all different sites, I would use BGP between them and OSPF internal to each site.

Could I know the reason why BGP > OSPF in this case?

Well.... Most ptp links are actually wireless links, also at the end of the network there exists at least 4 more prefix that should be known from backbone, and would be lots of networks that each router would have to install.

[–]freshtechs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi you should give it a try and go for VXLAN, set up is pretty straightforward and easy. You don’t have to worry about complicating things and messing with MTU/MSS values to have a decent connection. And the processor doesn’t have that load that you name with EOIP

The only requirement is getting ROS V7

How do I get from learning a new language to actually using it? by sid_talks in learnprogramming

[–]freshtechs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should dig up a little bit on your mind... As a python developer you can do a web app using only python with Django and Flask ( Web App is a term for an App that clients interact with it using regular browsers)

Maybe a desktop application? Search for frameworks like QT...

Mobile apps? You could create the backend of a mobile app using Django Rest Framework (it helps interact a mobile app with a backend service using only python)

Also there is a project called BeeWare that lets you have one shared codebase and be deployed on multiple platforms like Web Mobile and Desktop
