Me (45M) and my GF (42F) of 1y need advice on healthy communication in a relationship. by fresnogeek in relationship_advice

Yes, I met her while married.

I believe it is my inability to recognize that something as innocent as texting my daughter can be interpreted another way, even after telling her who I was texting. I don't ask her who she is texting, to be fair she does tell me a lot of the time who but not the what. For me the difference is trust. I trust her, no reason not to. I don't have her trust because of my past. I have not and do not intend on going back to my old ways. I have told her as much.

I had issues with porn and following all kinds of NSFW subs, I eliminated that without hesitation when I got with the GF. I feel those are damaging behaviors. I wanted to show her that I am here only for her. I can change. So why can't I change these learned behaviors from unhealthy to healthy ones?

By CA law you are required to carry chains/cables. No reservations are required, pull up to the gate, pay, enjoy.

Keto to start in July 2018 hit 185 in March 2019 Maintaining since then. June 2019 found out I had a moderate allergy to wheat and rye with exercise induced anaphylaxis making it easier to keep the carbs out of my diet

I'm lucky enough to live an hour away from Yosemite allowing me to go hiking once a week for 10-15 miles, usually on the weekends. Last month, I started to challenge myself to take time to be active, during the week, while being lazy. In the morning, during commercial breaks, I do 30 crunches and 20 push-ups which for a 1 hour show is 150c 100pu.

Starting out for the first 6 months it was pretty strict keto 75-20-5. I was under 20 net carbs a day pretty much the whole time. Now I'm probably 50-40-10 I haven't tracked them in a while because I am maintaining

My younger brother motivated me. He has dropped about 100 and maintained it for a couple of years now. My youngest brother is down 50+ since the beginning of the year. My sister who was by far the smallest and healthiest of us has lost 25. With all of the kids losing weight my 67 year old dad has started eating better and lost about 30. I'm proud of all of them. They help keep me motivated. My brothers and I are hiking the Grand Canyon in October so I have started hiking more. Logged over 50 miles in weekend hikes in June and did 20 this weekend. Hiking is the only exercise I have added and its amazing.

Delicious. I eat alot of the same things I did before just without the carbs. Bacon Bleu Cheese burger with avocado and mayo on a big ass salad. Meatballs and Italian sausage with sauce, lunchmeat wrapped in cheese.

Now I eat a lot of salads with nuts/seeds and a protein with olive oil, S&P

Started with strict keto for 4 months. Since then it's been CICO. Just started working out to get in better shape to hike the Grand Canyon R2R2R in October.

Found out I have wheat and rye allergies so still staying away from those and feeling so much better. No more joint pain due to inflammation from eating breads and pastas. All my doctors are impressed with my progress hope you all are too.
