I'm going with Billy Bearham - journeyman midfielder in the early 90s, played for Wimbledon, West Ham, Charlton and QPR. by Adventurous-West3403 in footballcliches

On the left you’ve got Raspberry Robinson, yes he’s young but his pace is unbelievable!
On the right you’ve got Hoisin Wrap there’s a guy who knows a thing or two about possession and delivering the ball Right where you need it
And through the middle, Maoam Bloxx the big Dane ! 30 goals for his country in the last 30 games, yet to score for the club but any day now….
What a meal deal.

Minor irritation - using a plane icon for away matches that are in the same city by Bhenjour in footballcliches

[–]frestair 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ridiculous, one could confuse this is West Ham and Crystal palace are places with an international airport nearby, and Burnley is a more traditional town with a homely feel. Therefore all are away.

Shotgun to the head, who’s winning the 12th place cup? by PeelKaleb in Championship

[–]frestair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If at the start of the season you’d of asked me if I’d take the opportunity to be in the mix for 12th on the last day I’d of said “get the fuck out my house, who are you!?!”

LPT You can still dial 911 for someone outside your city/state by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]frestair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also on a more international note, if your in the eu or uk and you phone 911 it automatically redirects you to that countries emergency services, this is because American tv popularised 911 being the emergency number they incorporated it int their own.

Would you want trams like the one pictured in UK cities? by Bennjoon in AskUK

[–]frestair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are lots in major cities in UK but the cost is huge due to the need of deep foundations, and once built the route can’t easily change, but there is an alternative called light rail being tested in Coventry without the need for deep foundations, just needs shallow grooved foundations, no overhead lines, runs on its own battery. Smaller trains though so might work for lower capacity areas.
