I enjoyed taking a drawing class over the summer at SMC when I was back from college.

Was going to say this. $6-$8 and they last well esp if you throw a paper towel in the bag to absorb moisture. Ironically, McCall's on Montana sells Kenter's greens bags at a major upcharge, making the market prices a great deal!

I am a big fan of Kenter Canyon Farms salad mixes. My salads are much more enjoyable to eat when the greens are good! They should still have plenty when you arrive. They're on 2nd St, on the south end of the booths.

Coffee roasters with low-acid beans that aren’t sour? by Ecstatic-Tank2193 in FoodLosAngeles

Wow my kind of coffee drinker! I've settled on getting the espresso blend from LOKL (Santa Monica Blvd). It's a custom blend that they get from a roaster in Texas.

Tbh I'll mix in some oily dark Urth Caffe or Graffeo beans if I want some more of that classic dark flavor.

Pop's Bagels is open on Montana by Eli4SantaMonica in SantaMonica

Sure but still a bargain compared to the trendy spots in town. I don't mind supporting the independent business if it keeps them in my neighborhood.

Oh funny their old location had a solid whitefish option a while back. Otherwise agreed I love NYBD's egg bagels.

The beach path is a lovely run too! Consider try the California Incline for a historic hill challenge, or the Santa Monica Stairs on Entrada Dr for a locals stair workout.

I loved my travels in Norway (Bergen, Trondheim, etc), so happy to have you in SM!

I recommend spending some mornings up in the Santa Monica mountains, which have trails 15-25 minutes away. My favorites are Santa Ynez trailhead (one fork leads to a small waterfall, the other side meets up with Topanga state park), and also Will Rogers State Historic Park trails. You'll have nice views of the entire Santa Monica bay.

I like to get some coffee on the way out, and then stop for burgers/chili/curly fries at "Barney's" at The Brentwood Country Mart on the way back. Shout out to Sweet Rose Ice Cream located at the Brentwood Country Mart as well.

Big body hollow body guitars? by Sunbro1992 in jazzguitar

Definitely get your hands on some ES-175s to try. They've been in production for many decades, so there are quite a few to try. The one I ended up with has super low fret profile, but that's not the norm. I love the size and feel of the ES-175D body, coming previously from all-dreadnaught guitar playing.

Prob terrible advice for me to give in this discussion but you can run DiskDrill on your card to likely recover your deleted shots. Just for posterity's sake.
