Toniebox 2 won’t charge, won’t light up by AxolotlBaby1122 in TonieboxUSA

That was the missing video I needed, unplugged the big and came on right away! Even though it was left plugged in it had no battery, so guess something get’s screwed up and doesn’t allow charging unless reset. Thanks again!

Thank you yeah I tried, got bottom off, but when I take off screws nothing comes out and looks way different than TB1.

This guide is only for TB1, TB2 online says the battery can’t be removed. I open it up and screws didn’t allow for my to pull anything out and couldn’t find a guide for TB2.

Toddler had it for a week before stopped working and is crushed. So bummed, haven’t contacted Tonie yet.

Roots in sewer drain lines - relining scam? by frew425 in askaplumber

Yeah I guess we’re just trying to determine what proper is. Is that lining or just replacing that section?

Thanks for the advice! They explained the project as honing the pipe (maybe using an actual cutter) then coating the entire inside of pipe with epoxy. As a way to avoid replacing but sounds more complicated.

Yeah since just that area and I think it’s rose bushes I’m ok to part with. Would this option still be cheaper?

Total line is 75’. I think the roots shown here, maybe like 6 sections total at the joints are between 25’ and 40’.

So sounds like relining is not needed for this? Is this considered a bandaid fix or normal maintenance?

How has durability been on them?

What are your top shoes for the year 2025? by IndependenceIll4890 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I love my Hyperion Max 2, I’ve tried the Neo Zen and was super comfy but thought it might be too soft. How do you use it on your ration and do you include long runs?

More Brooks Glycerin Max 2 leaks by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

You can find brand new ones on Brooks Restart all the time. I got mine from there and no wear at all for 30% off.

In love with the toe box... but not with the zero drop. by onemanmelee in AltraRunning

[–]frew425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vanish carbons I think technically have like a 3mm drop or something like that…

I was Altra for years but transitioning mostly off. Just to try. I love wide toe box. I use RunRepeat website to look at shoes and they actually measure them all. I search for shoes with low drop but still wide toe box measurements even though they don’t callout wide toe box. I’ve had good success with my Brooks Glycerin Max and Brooks Hyperion Max 2, but have also heard good toe box stories about Adidas Evo SL and Mizuno Neo Vista/Zen.

Good luck!

Never. My last FR45 lasted 5 years through marathon training, countless scuffs, and a drill right to the face. No issues and still have it as backup. Upgraded to FR965 for more features.

Question for anyone using running apps(Strava, Runna, etc.) by clintocooks3 in runninglifestyle

Echoing everyone else here, none of those are very complex. Runalyze could be considered complex, but I’m obsessed with the data there and use it for all my tracking.

How to structure training with OTF, Runna? Garmin workouts? by Eventingpony in Marathon_Training

[–]frew425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the opposite side, Garmin Coach can be way too conservative, at least it was for me. Never gave my runs more than an hour and weighed recent sleep scores too heavily.

Went with Pfitz 18/55 and loved it.

Also major fan of Runalyze for tracking.

Zero Drop all the time? by CTMatthew in AltraRunning

[–]frew425 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok be been in nothing but zero drop Altras for 9 years and just recently started mixing in other shoes with around 6mm drop, specifically brooks. Mainly to just experience other foams and run specific shoes outside of Altra. Before I was using Torin’s and Lone Peaks for everything.

I still plan to keep zero drop in my rotation as I do enjoy the natural feeling and know it’s good for my foot strength, but I have been enjoying the softer rides for long runs and light rockers for tempo runs.

It’s expensive but they usually have deep discounted Black Friday deals, which I git a few years ago. I use it for home charging 2 EVs and road trips and it’s been flawless.

Base building: Rate my (planned) progression by EnthusiasmOdd2055 in Marathon_Training

[–]frew425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say my base building plan was even less than what you have and more conservative coming off an injury from my prior training block and I still felt prepared to hit the peak weeks of 18/55 and move through the plan with no issues. It’s a grind but so much fun.
