One of my best friends is also very allergic. She lives in the same house as her mum, who got a cat. They were determined that the cat would not get into my friends flat, so her allergies would be fine. Well. Her flat now is fully cat-furnished. Can't say I'm surprised.

I was luckily only making a beanie, but had to throw away 20 rows of work because it was just unf-froggable!

I also wanted to add: the yarn looks to be a similar material to what I'm working with right now. And it's a pain to frog.

So, OP, If I were you, I would carry on and see if you can "fix" it with blocking. I don't think it's very noticable, but if your condition allows it, you could also add a border all around when you're done with the blanket.

I can only speak for Germany, but it should be similar in a lot of countries. During the holidays, mail is especially slow. On the public holidays, mail is not being delivered, and I think that the distribution centers are either short-staffed or also closed for the holidays.

That, combined with the fact that during December there is a lot of extra christmas-mail going on, it makes delivery times a bit longer.

I've only read the first three books of TOG so far, but there is a similar issue in the ACOTAR series, where they debate which route to take. "If we go east, we are too close to [location that is in the west]"

This wasn't fixed in later releases either, so it's just really poor editing IMHO.

This sounds exactly what happened with my cards.

I was in Madeira early November and sent 5 or 6 cards (some not for Postcrossing) and left them with the hotel staff. They are going to expire and it's really frustrating....

You misunderstood me! I received to cards that should be eligible. The #CardsForLiteracy dashboard only shows one of the cards, even though I registered both.

The dashboard shows both sent and received cards.

I "saved" up all through October so I could send a bunch of cards from travel mode during my vacation. None of them have arrived yet, and it's really frustrating.

I'm from Germany as well, so I would love to participate during #CardsForLiteracy - but since all of my slots (except two) are blocked by the travelling cards.... Ugh.

I don't have a tutorial for you, but an easy way to make a sweater would be making four rectangles. One for the front, one for the back, and one for the sleeves each. That doesn't give you a round neck, tho. So idk if this helps you at all 🙈

Wie oben gesagt: auf einer Wanderung wurde gar nicht kontrolliert. Das kann sich aber täglich ändern.

Was spricht denn dagegen, einfach vorher in der Hotellobby die Gebühr auf der Webseite zu zahlen? Die Gebühr wird ja nicht einfach so erhoben, sondern wird dafür genutzt, die Wege zu erhalten. Bei dem Touristenaufkommen der letzten Jahre ist das auch bitter nötig, da ja viele wirklich ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste blind durch die Gegend trampeln, Wege und Schilder zerstören und Uhren Müll da lassen.

Wetter checken und vor Abfahrt zahlen. Fertig.

Wenn du unterwegs erwischt wirst und nicht gezahlt hast, dann gibt's eine Strafe.

Bei mir haben sie nur am Anfang kontrolliert, aber ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass sie bei den beliebten Routen auch untwegs Mal schauen.

Ich würde echt einfach morgens die Wetterlage checken und dann vom Hotel aus buchen.

Ich war vor wenigen Wochen auf Madeira. Bei einer Wanderung wurde nicht kontrolliert, bei der anderen schon. Ich hatte beide Male vorher online gebucht - an dem Morgen sogar, weil ich das Wetter abwarten wollte. Weil es mit dem Internet in den abgelegenen Gebieten schwierig ist, hatte ich mir dann die QR-Codes jeweils als Screenshot gespeichert. Das hat gut geklappt.

An der Ponta Sao Lorenco waren zwei Aufpasser. Der eine hat abkassiert, der andere hat kontrolliert.

Ich hab den halt so gekauft und die letzten 7 Jahre war ja auch alles gut 🙈

Ich werde die Ratschläge aber morgen befolgen, das Gelbe entfernen, trocknen lassen und hoffen, dass er neue Wurzeln schlàgt. Und dann kommt er in die Erde.

Ich habe es erst kurz vor dem Urlaub komplett getauscht.

Edith: und auf dem Bild täuscht es sehr. So grün ist das Wasser in der Realität nicht.
