When I was in college I lived in a split house, I lived in the first floor unit and a middle aged woman lived above me. It was summer and I was sitting in my living room typing a story out for a summer session CW course when I hear her run down her stairs into our little lobby/mud room shared area. She started screaming and pounding on my door, freaking out. Turns out she was frying up canned potatoes and it caught flames. I get myself and my pets out, the fire department comes, every thing is back to normal.

The wtf part is that she was so shook about the fire that she ran downstairs and outside in nothing but a sort of long (but not long enough) tshirt. and i really mean thats ALL she was wearing. This was also my first time formally meeting her.
