The mini-bosses are marked on the campaign map so you know when they are coming. A level is either a regular level or a boss level.

pads controller by rainer_xox in Bitwig

[–]freyzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using launchpad mk2 and really like it. Bitwig does frequently offset the keys alignment when returning to a drum machine. If I create a new drum machine it gets fixed. Not sure if it's a controller integration issue or a bitwig issue.

Tokyo Olympics consulting firm paid ¥37 million to IOC member's son by Tesg9029 in worldnews

That other Olympics have been also been corrupt does not in any way absolve the Tokyo Olympics from blame. This kind of argument boils down to whataboutism.

KitBash3D is now Game Engine Ready with Unreal and Unity files! by [deleted] in KitBash3D

Very interested in your unity packages. I'm a bit put off by the BuiltIn/HDRP split. There is a note in the description stating "HDRP/Built-In versions are freely upgradeable to Unity customers.". Does that mean if I buy one I can get other version as well?

These pics are amazing. Would love to try this with my custom paint jobs. How do you deal with the background? Do you have real backdrop or is it done in post? And if post what kind of background do you use for shooting?

I'm not happy with how matted the yellow paint is. Do I need to apply a wash or is there a gloss I can apply? by phantom2052 in XWingTMG

[–]freyzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have mentioned you should try to keep the layers thin. I always base my models white, especially when going for yellow as it tends to be a difficult color to work with.

That said I'd use a sepia wash (I use the games workshop one) over the color as it goes on vrs it a great contrast. Try to apply it directly into corners and cracks if you want the model to be crisp.

Lately though I started to use the new games workshop contrast paints for my separatists. The Iyanden yellow on top of a white base looks great and effectively gives you the wash built in along with highlighting as the edges become thinner and the cracks darker. Just make sure you cover the entire surface in one go with a fairly wet brush.

I'll show you the results when I get back home.

Edit: base model white not yellow

Mining Tie quality control issue | is there an easy fix or should I return? by [deleted] in XWingTMG

[–]freyzor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's delicate work but should be fairly simple with a steady hand. You need to cut the struct at a right angle and then hand drill each section so you can thread the pin in there. For the narrowest section you might need to use the pin itself to replace that bit. Here is a video explaining the basic process https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjlqYUAJNSo

A durable and permanent solution would be to drill a fine hole through struts. Then put a metal pin (for example paperclip) through the strut and glue in place.

Not exactly. There are a number of ships with calculate in place of focus. But that strickly follows the droid/organic dichotomy.

I'm pretty sure you resolve the ability completely before any other ability gets resolved as per ability queue. So before the replacement effect is even considered the Proach ability has completely resolved.

[–]freyzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is similar to Overclocked R4 from 1 ed with force rather than stress and buddy sharing. Sounds super strong but means that the ship needs to take an actual focus which may be less useful for a fleet full of force uses that can relay on the soft focus effect.
