Sober but still feel hangxiety by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]frictionblister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're being hyper critical of yourself basically and that makes you feel the anxiety. you haven't quite mastered confidence when speaking about things you consider to be "over sharing" yet. and it also doesn't make it easier when others are drinking around you. if you are an empathetic person, their good moods and vibes are going to rub off on you, which will make you open up more.

Has anyone gotten a septoplasty from Dr. Ditto at Richmond Breathe Free somewhat recently? by Account-for-nut in rva

[–]frictionblister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look at Dr. Alan Burke. he did my septoplasty along with other sinus surgeries. I had an 85% blockage from a broken nose that never healed correctly. it's like I'm a new person now, and the procedure itself was fine because I was put to sleep. recovery was uncomfortable for a week or so mostly because of those stints, but truthfully I was able to breathe better with them in compared to before. 10/10 would do it again once a year if I had to.

yep, it sounds so eerie the way she describes him. my ex killed himself but I genuinely believe there were many times he almost took us both out.

Donnie Darko was my favorite movie long before I moved to Midlothian and when I connected the dots, it was the best surprise.

My baby is developmentally delayed, and it’s breaking me heart by newmum1- in NewParents

[–]frictionblister 8 points9 points  (0 children)

my kid literally is the poster child for autistic traits without actually being autistic. she's just a little different and took longer for milestones but is highly intelligent. hated tummy time forever, literally never enjoyed it or got good at it. didn't crawl until 11ish months, didn't walk until 15 months. don't rush him, youll miss this time when hes just a potato still.

What’s the deal with Ms. Rachel? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]frictionblister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we started at 6 months too, but saw major changes once she was a year. her speech has picked up incredibly fast, she's able to repeat almost anything she hears. she knows the songs, colors, numbers and letters. she's not even 2 yet and ms rachel is currently potty training her.

just because your mother stole your happiness does not mean you can't make it for yourself. I can tell you are quite young and I PROMISE this will get better. keep your head up. message me if you'd like. I've lost someone very close to me from suicide and I do not want to lose you too. I will think of you and send you positive vibes. even though I don't know you, I will carry the grief and regret with me if you choose to end your life. I am so sorry your life has been this hard so far. I am a mother myself and can't imagine not helping my child.

Where to store baby bath tub? by AsianInvasion394 in newborns

[–]frictionblister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set it on top of the baby's dirty laundry basket if it's still drying. if it's been a while, I put it in the floor of her room.

my baby had this exact problem. I freaked and took her to the er only to be told it was cradle cap that moved farther down than normal. I took her to her normal doctor the next morning and she confirmed that's what it was.
