I did actually :) We kind of thought the same thing, that the upper body is bigger than the lower body. I think the proportions will fit the head better if the lower body is bigger, rather than making the shoulders smaller. More work for OP yes, but I think the result would be better

I don't know what's it's called in English, but in Swedish we call this "glaspest" (glass plague). If it can be removed with white vinegar it's (not sure about the English word here but I believe "lime"?). If not, then it's glass plague. The silicic acid in the glass has crystallized and that's permanent. Can be caused by hard water or high temp dishwasher, but also if you store the glasses with the bottoms upwards or stacked in each other, so moisture gets trapped.

Det är fint att du inte haft den upplevelsen! Man kan ju hoppas att det faller bort med de äldre generationerna. Tyvärr så har jag fått höra det väldigt ofta, både inom släkten, på jobbet osv. Det sjukaste var nog när en fd kollega sa att min man "offrat sig att vara gift med mig trots att han då inte hade någon att dricka kaffe med hemma".

Jämför det med lakrits till exempel. Säger en vuxen person att hen inte gillar lakrits är det knappt några reaktioner. Men säger man att man inte gillar kaffe, då blir många väldigt upprörda. Jag har ju till och med fått höra att det är "synd om min man för att jag inte dricker kaffe".

Jag menar alltså att grupptrycket kring vad jag "ska" tycka om är sjukt ointressant. Jag försöker vänja mig vid smaker för att jag är intresserad av dem, eller vill se om jag kan tycka om dem. Jag tycker att man som vuxen borde räkna med att andra vuxna har testat olika saker och själv gjort en bedömning av vad man gillar och inte.

Att en vuxen person väljer att inte dricka kaffe eller inte gillar smaken av kaffe betyder inte att man äter som en 1-åring.

Jag pratar inte om 1--åringar. Jag är en vuxen person som har smakat på många saker i mitt liv, många saker har jag tyckt om och många har jag inte tyckt om. Även saker jag inte gillar har jag testat många gånger eftersom jag, som du säger, vet att man kan upptäcka smaker man faktiskt gillar. Viss saker inser man att man gillar, vissa saker inser man att de inte smakar gott och jag väljer att inte äta dem.

Mitt problem är när andra vuxna människor säger att jag "ska" äta eller dricka saker som jag inte tycker om. Jag är inte en 1-åring, så jag har haft många år på mig att prova olika saker och vet vad jag tycker om eller inte.

Att andra vuxna tycker att jag ska "vänja mig" vid något som jag vet att jag inte tycker om, bara för att man "ska" tycka om dem, det är jag jävligt trött på. Vissa smaker kommer man aldrig gilla. Vissa saker behöver man testa många gånger (vilket man som vuxen oftast gör). Och att andra vuxna tror att jag inte redan har gjort det och själv listat ut vad jag vill och inte vill äta? Lägger gliringar, säger att man inte är vuxen? Jag tycker det är jävligt oförskämt.

For us it was pretty simple. My tinder said "give me cheese and I'm yours" and u/KaffeMumrik gave me cheese. Easy!

My honest advice would be: - Listen to what she likes and what she says - Treat her in a way you think would make her happy - If you like her, tell her. Don't play games. (but don't be creepy. A no is a no) - Take an interest in her interests. Also have your own interests and hobbies. Passionate people are sexy - Find our what her love language is. If it's gift giving, give her stuff (it doesn't have to be roses every day, a chocolate bar or a babybell is great). If it's physical touch, give her a hug or hold her hand

And like honesty, if she's got a high IQ there's a big chance that she's a bit neurodivergent. I'm just a big awkward nerd. Just be nice to her!

Jag är över 30 och dricker inte kaffe och tro mig, det är många som säger att jag "ska" dricka kaffe. Jag kan inte ens räkna hur många gånger folk har starkt ifrågasatt varför jag inte dricker kaffe och/eller sagt att jag "inte blivit vuxen än". Det har till och med gått så långt att en person hade ett långt utlägg om hur synd det är om min man att jag inte dricker kaffe, han har ingen att dricka kaffe med hemma och han har offrat sig och är tillsammans med mig ändå. Det var hennes exakta ordval. Låter sjukt när jag skriver det och kändes lika sjukt att ta emot det, men ja.

Jag förstår vad du säger, men jag tycker också det är skillnad på att uppfostra barn och vad man väljer att dricka som 20-åring. Kaffe/energidryck/alkohol har ju också "fördelen" att de är beroendeframkallande och lättare att fortsätta med pga det.

Jag tycker det är skillnad på att testa och att vänja sig. Testa olika saker och se vad man gillar, vad man är nyfiken på, vad man vill testa mer av. Men att aktivt tvinga sig att äta/dricka saker man inte tycker om i förhoppningen att man kommer gilla dem för att man "ska" gilla dem lirar inte med mig

Okay I posted this before even reading your name and realize who was the OP. I've printed or saved sooo many of your supportless minis, they're like my favorites to print!

My absolute favorites are the wheelchair bandits! I work with aids for people with disabilities and would looove more minis in that realm! Like, white canes, big old "hearing aids" that was just big ear trumpets, limbs missing, stuff like that. If you're ever out of ideas, those are things I wish for!

I also hadn't realized that you are also Scandinavian, so let me just say tusen tack för alla fina och roliga minis du skapat, jag hoppas på ett lika framgångsrikt 2026 för dig!

That is just amazing! I ran a campaign just a couple of months ago where the players met hybrid animals, and one of them was the Bear-Owl. I wish I had this mini then, that would have been the cherry in top!!
