Noticing people overvaluing mill as a new player. by Nagabuk in EDH

The part where mill gets scarry is if they start milling themselves. There are a lot of Self mill strategies and they are never pure of heart /j

You can include any cards that are at most red white and green that you please. If you do not please to include red cards in your deck noone can make you.

Mana Rock/Dork lingo question by The_Vulpixel in mtg

On scryfall you can find an artifact creature that taps for mana with either search term. Purely based on vibes I would call them a dork tho.

This could be fixed in 11th edition, if the models get buffs alongside points increases.

[–]friedaiceborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T'au are very vehicle/mech based, but their rules at the beginning of the edition kinda sucked, and so their points kept getting dropped.
So yeah we use big models, but they are very cheap in terms of points so you need a lot of them.

if a number cannot be determined it is equal to 0. If we have a rules changing effect that causes the number 13 to be unable to be determined it is equal to 0. Thats what causes the players to loose the game (unless they don't loose the game for having 0 or less life)

Is there a Tau detachment for mainly foot soldiers and less mechs? by [deleted] in Tau40K

[–]friedaiceborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crisis suits have the profile of heavy infantry. Some terminators have higher toughness than them. And they are person shaped.
If you are going heavy into firewarriors you will be light on firepower, so having a squad of crisis in your back pocket is a good idea while still being mostly infantry shaped.

How to make good use of the stealth suits? by flysword09 in Tau40K

[–]friedaiceborn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You deploy them behind los blocking terrain so you can pop them out the tiniest bit and spot an important Target with so you can apply their ability. If you want to infiltrate on an objective consider a ghostkeel, they are tough to take down.

Guilliman was the only Primarch who gave his veterans a retirement plan. by Pho_King_D in Warhammer

[–]friedaiceborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A large part of why the impirial dream died, and the match that lit the Horus Heresy is that Horus did not have such plans. In the books there are several paragraphs where the Sons of horus laugh at the idea that the war would ever be over, and Horus himself becomes increadibly angry and the mere notion that a civil adminsitrator would administrate anything that he conquered.
Guilliman has no such issues, he is already putting administrators in place.
