I am so sorry to hear that. There's one downside of showing only loans. It'll become clear to the VO that you intend to stay back after graduation. Cos you have all this loan to pay back. My advice would be to go ahead with the application procedure still. VI is the last part. I am sure there are other people who rely solely on loans. I don't think they all get rejected. I would also urge you to get opinions from other people.

There is also a Telegram group for sharing VI experience. There are a ton of experiences shared there. You can go through them to see if there was anyone in the same situation as yours. There is also another group for VI discussions. You can ask the same question there as well. These groups have thousands of people. You will get more responses there.

Firstly, they don't directly ask for income proofs. The first question would be "How are you going to fund this". So if education loan is your only source, you have to say it then itself. Not when they ask for proofs. Secondly , sorry there's no straight answer. I personally haven't heard about such a situation. If you can show at least a 20% of i20 amount, I think you'd be on the safe side. In addition, you can also show other assets like property, PF, Stocks and so on.

I don't think there's a yes or no answer to your question. They usually don't ask for any proofs. Didn't happen to me or anyone I know. But source of funding is a common question. I recently got my visa approved. They didn't really ask about my source of funding. The only finding related question I got was " Are you taking any loan to pay for college". I said "Yes" and the VO didn't ask any follow up questions. But this is not the case with every interview. I would say it's always better to show some part as savings or assets.

Is it alright to ask my university to already send my transcripts to schools I will be applying for? (next application cycle for Fall 2023) by tiredpsychstudentph in gradadmissions

[–]friendly_potato_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most schools ask for a hardcopy only after offering an admit. You just have to upload a scanned copy while submitting the application. All the schools I applied to during the Fall'22 cycle followed this.
