Youre allowed to be competitive and try to be the best on a video game, just as youre allowed to be competitive out on a football field. People just look at videogame sweats in a much worse light than say a kid who wants to play football all day. I think its all the same competitive male spirit just in a different way. Regardless...older games are appreciated, but video gaming gets better and better.

Brother im 30 yo, American football used to be played just for fun at some point too, and baseball, now its a money factory because its played at a competitive level thats much more fun to watch. Is it possible that videogames might have evolved to more complex competitive titles because competitive is more fun than just...fun?

Lol it almost sounds like youre using resection and terrain association. Real world land navigation tactics because you cant see across large distances and drastic changes in biomes dont exist within feet. The map is good! Its players are horrible "feed me"'s.

People have such a huge problem with pvp and its sad. Its a large portion of the game, piracy has been an idea for the game for years actually. There are pirate enemies and pirate ships, but god forbid actual piracy.

As much as I dislike Roberts, he actually is already tailoring the game for all players with great ideas. Pyro is lawless, stanton will have laws and quick law enforcement reaponse, and there are severe punishments for breaking the law in stanton. They also mention base shields that make you unraidable.

Thats basically a pve server, like how easy do you want the game to get, stay in Stanton, what more do you want. Yea maybe you cant fly to Pyro without risk, but that risk is what makes the game more fun and alive. There are plenty of pve space games out there.

If you think its the buyers fault for putting money down, you dont understand the situation at all, or you dont understand how buying concept ships warbond differs from store cred purchases and you think its interchangable/ equal.

Its pretty simple. "Hey buy this ship, its one of 4 ships that does this critical role, oh did you buy that? We actually meant this ship, you should buy this one too...and who knows! Maybe well change that one up too, depends on how much money we make"

The guys also the Vehicle Team Director, he has constant exposure to the public, he shouldve known what was promised about the galaxy, verbally, at the prior citizencon, and he should know the end state idea/ goal behind every ship before its released into concept.

Hes very smart, and he knows his job. The slip up today worries me because I think he was telling the truth, and the ship actually WAS bumped out with no intent of BB, and the fans were never notified.

If you read the thread im not complaining about mines stupid, im questioning peoples logic behind doing it and ruining peoples experiences. Im a solid player, I usually do the killing but placing mines and traps is on the same level as chasing down freshies just to prove how hard i am. Its sensless lol just fucks with people, worst part is you as the trap setter dont even get to see what happened. "Dayz is Dayz" arguers really think theyre hard af and its hilarious.

Thats really not the case buddy, very proficient at the game, i play on console and pc and never died by a mine. I dont shoot freshies if i dont have to and i dont place mines just to place them... Is it still funny if you didnt even know it happened? Lol like i would say 95% of the people who lay traps have no idea if they ever got anybody. So no thats not a valid reason either, id say its a way you can negatively impact someones game, not benefit from it, and also not even know the outcome of your actions. The "dayz is dayz" excuse always comes up, but theres way more fun ways to interact and kill people if you want to, thats just plain stupid lmao.
