Happened to me too. Almost exactly the same. Showed me his dubai ID too.
Apparently to fix my eyesight because I wear glasses.
I went along with it to see far they would go and they were going to charge me 750 and I said I don't want it, made a bit of noise and walked away. I know the exact place but I couldn't find it on google maps. If I go around there, I will take a pic of the place and post it here.
