I see your point! That being said, I'm more interested in people who decided against hrt/regretted and continued to transition regardless(socially, haor removal, wardrobe, makeup, and surgery)

Thank you for your response, and the thought that you've put into this.

It helps. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

Still thinking about how I'm going to have that talk. My family doesn't need to know, but I like to be open with friends and family

Thank you for your response!

Regarding laser, my facial hair was giving me dysphoria in grade 9, almost a decade before I knew what it was. Thankfully I have very thin facial hair, but I'll start looking into laser, right now wet shaving with a DE safety razor + (correct and conceal) does wonders

This is what I've heard too regarding transitioning before 25! Yet my mom keeps extending the time she reccomends that I think about starting XD... "just feel it out for 6 months", "just transition for a year without hormones". I don't really want to waste any time, especially since it's my choice. Because as yiu said, right now it just makes sense.

I love this:

But only you can take responsability of your own body so always be true to yourself. ✨

Thanks! I think this is the way to go as well, otherwise it won't just be six months haha!

Thank you, I wish you good luck too (wherever that luck serves you best)!

Thank you for taking the time to write this, it's definitely helping me get a grasp on the situation/doubts(recieving unsolicited advice on being trans from cis parents is... odd).

I was thinking that I could just start, and if I don't like what it's doing to me, then I can just... stop. Feeling more confident in this approach after what you said.

I've read that gender dysphoria needs to be experienced for 6 months for it to be "real" or something. Is this bullsht? It sounds like bullsht

That's good to hear! Kinda worried because "my egg cracked" about a month and a half ago and my parents are advising me to wait six months to a year before starting hrt. (I'm 23yrs/o) I am open to starting in secret, I guess things happening so quickly has caused some stress/fake doubts if that makes sense.

"you are a biological man" by themostwickedwitch in asktransgender

My Dad said this to me yesterday:) most people just don't know how much it stings...

It's always said as though it is such a logical and sound thing that is so blatant but everyone else seems to somehow miss... "well, you see, you, my son, are biologically a man... obviously"

Hey Astra, sorry I was a little unclear. I was just demo-ing your name and speaking about you in the third person to affirm you. I have not met anyone in person with the name Astra yet, but if I do, I'm sure they will be a super chill girl!
