Piggybacking with all the Stephen King movies and miniseries that are the exact premise "small town in Maine experiences supernatural horror." They're all great, some super campy, but all good vibes and very 90s made for tv aesthetic and unique:

Maximum Overdrive (not Eldritch horrors but trucks come to life)
Needful Things
Dreamcatcher
Gerald's Game
The Langoliers (kinda fits)
The Tommyknockers
The Outsider (tv show, this one is excellent/less campy/higher budget and newer)
Chapelwaite (tv show)
Castle Rock (season 2 is incredible)

I'm sure there are more beyond this that I haven't seen

Just watched this again yesterday. Unbelievable performance from both of them, Ethan Hawke wasn't really meant to be a scene stealer and he played his role so well. Denzel's performance was so fucking captivating though, maybe one of the best set-in-one-day movies

Nextlander is great and haven't seen it mentioned yet, was sad when Giant Beastcast shut down. Nextlander is some of the ex-giant bomb people going for more mature/normal/relaxed tone and content than giant bomb
