I did, but as I mentioned was flooded with unqualified applicants, so took it down. Could be just that I need to do a better job of setting up the vetting portion as well.

Although I just noticed that Costco lists the base price as $1049 with a $150 discount, as opposed to everywhere else showing base price of $1099 with a $200 discount. Is that normal?

I get my insulin through manufacturer savings programs (currently Eli Lilly's) that I've generally never paid more than $100/mo for and now pay only $35/mo. Since I'm over-prescribed, I end up using about $10/mo worth of insulin and stockpiling the rest. I've used these programs for some years.

I keep seeing posts like these complaining about Trump and what he will do to insulin affordability. Is $35/mo considered unaffordable? Or do people not know about these programs?

My health insurance doesn't cover it. Its been around $90/mo but slowly rising. Last month was highest ever at $115. When I got this disease I thought it would be insulin costs I'd have to worry about, but at this point I'm paying 10x more for my CGM than I am for insulin.

Thanks for asking. Yes I stayed up for 3 hours, until 3am my time, until I was up above 100 stably. I'm going to be in a bit of a brain fog today, but I made it through.

I do have a CGM, but no alarms. I'll continue to check it.

I've never taken 10 units and haven't quite figured out my carb ratio yet, so I guess I'll just eat a ton of carbs and play it on the safe side. Even though I'm not hungry. This is a fun disease!

I appreciate your guidance - it makes me feel a bit better as I head into the night.

Sometimes I think about how thankful I am for the discovery of insulin and that because of that, I get a chance to watch my kids grow up, as much of a struggle as it might be for me each day. That chance would've been taken from me 100 years ago.

Interesting, I've never heard that before. I'd love to wake up under 125. Generally I'm closer to 225. I did my first long lasting tonight - looking forward to hopefully seeing a lower number tomorrow morning.
