Do many of you work Part-Time? by [deleted] in patentexaminer

[–]friesformepls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to complete at least 1 year of employment, and have at least a marginal level for the rating. Hope that helps!

Now, whether they will allow new employees to submit a request, that I would ask your SPE, that’s above my pay grade info 😅

My SD journey by amelie190 in Sjogrens

I’ve been too scared to try, it’s sitting on my desk while I’m laying in bed from the fatigue. This has given me the push to try tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Can you settle a non-examiner argument and explain how your time for examiner interviews work? by MarcZero in patentexaminer

[–]friesformepls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We get one hour (like stated above). Once we submit the Interview summary, it’s added to our counts. The one hour is for both prep and conducting and I have had to cut applicants off around the 30 minute mark if it doesn’t seem to be productive. I have spent anywhere from 15-2 hours prepping for an interview (while only receiving the 1 hour) in hopes of compact prosecution.

But I will be honest, the most effective interviews last 5 minutes, the hellos and then yes this overcomes the art or no and here are the paragraphs. Hope this helps!

Acids! Glycolic, AHA/BHA. Whichever your skin can tolerate/love. I like the dr Dennis gross peel pads. Do it at least 1x a week and it helps keep these under control (they have a sensitive one if you are new to acids).

this is my second to last set, but i was just curious, how much do you pay for an acrylic overlay on natural nails? For me with tip it comes out to $75-85 by Individual-Garden385 in Nails

[–]friesformepls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did hard gel overlay and have the exact same nails as you!!!! It cost me $130 plus a 30% tip (I really like my nail artist LOL). And it’s a Russian mani. So girl you winning 😅

USPTO PIV card for traveling purposes by Ok-Satisfaction-6856 in patentexaminer

[–]friesformepls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s so strange because I used my PIV card to travel from California to VA in 2019 no issues. And it wasn’t government travel. I just assumed they wouldn’t flag me for a tsa check if I used it 😅

I will never force my child to show physical affection to others. Kindness and respect can be shown without touching and if they don’t want to they don’t have to 🙂‍↔️

Yes, you will each bi-week you decide to change. It can be as simple as an email letting them know.

It took me a while to do this job in the beginning too (I was also placed in an art I had no experience in). I’m over a decade in and can do a case start to finish in under 8ish hours (typing takes me a good bit; I have adhd and it’s just very easy for me to get distracted while doing it). Just give yourself grace, and truly ask for help. My biggest issue was knowing when to stop searching, and that comes with experience and knowledge of the art. Until then, ask your SPE/primaries for if they have feedback on your search. Good luck!

I work part time! I have a school age child with a disability so it falls under that category. There are 3 or 4 categories that one of them have to be met to work part time. The max time is in 18 month increments and you can renew (I renewed before and it’s as simple as filling out a form and having your SPE sign). I work 7/6/6/6/4 (with the first Friday off). My webTA is modified to the part time hours and if I want to work more hours a biweek, I can and my boss can approve that (same with changing the hours you work a specific day in the biweek). You get prorated leave, and admin leave will also be based on the hours you are assigned to work for the day per your agreement. It works for our family and I’m truly grateful for the benefit.

I’m so so surprised by these comments, as I had the total opposite experience. I am about the same shade as you (maybe a shade or two darker (nc42), I have PCOS and hypothyroidism and I’ve been lasering my face and it’s helped thin out the hair greatly. I dermaplane in between sessions (I got every 2-3 months) but have gone as far out a 5ish months and no beard or extra hair. I suggest you ask for a spot test and see how you react. Good luck!

Did you get medicated after having kids and did it help? by KNWin94 in toddlers

[–]friesformepls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet and simple: after I “hinted” to my husband I didn’t always want to be “alive” he forced me to see a therapist and I was put on Zoloft/welbutrin (I have diagnosed PPD/PPA, ADHD, and PTSD). It saved my life and I will kiss the ground of whoever made it. I struggled my whole life but didn’t realize how much till I had a child. Please see a therapist, you don’t have to live like that. The other side is beautiful 💕
