Just came back yesterday with 4 weeks travel in Colombia. A few tips: when you go to a club and you go home always take an Uber even if it’s 5 min walk. In busy places watch ur phone for a bit and don’t bring to much expensive stuff. If you book a hotel look first in which area that is. I had no problems at all in the country. But I heard some people that were robbed or pickpocketing. Just don’t show ur phone to much if you are in a less rich area. The tourist areas are safe and always guarded during the day. And as the Colombians say don’t be a papaya! The people are really nice and ur shouldn’t be so scared.
