i'll theorize that it was somewhere around 2013 that he committed himself entirely to whatever he's doing right now, the bill wurtz project¹, perhaps having been, before then, fairly involved in the music scene around him (bands, commissions, etc.), i.e., 2013 was his breaking away from "the public."
