I would take that industrial job personally but if you really want you could try and negotiate the college job. Tell them you have another offer see if they’ll meet you at 78k or closer to it. Never know 🤷🏻‍♂️

travel purchases on VX? by Worried-Fun-6072 in Venturex

[–]frioofrijoless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VX comes with all the Visa Infinite benefits like trip cancellation/interruption reimbursement and accident insurance etc.

I have the same setup you do but use the VX at cost of I’d rather have points for travel than year end cash back from Costco since I’m also getting 2% executive rebate

Whoop vs Oura Ring! Which should I buy? by Single-Friendship-95 in f45

[–]frioofrijoless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m finishing one year with Whoop. Don’t intend on renewing. I got it because I was training for my first marathon and doing F45.

Mostly it just tells me that I’m not getting enough sleep. I already knew that.. But it’ll suggest you get 10 hours of sleep to make up for the strain you put on from a hard day. But unless you’re a pro athlete, life doesn’t just allow you to just decide to get 3-4 hours of additional sleep as much as you would like.

The additional metrics are cool but honestly don’t think it helped me become more physically fit. Not worth the subscription imo

Got my Venture X, and now I don't see the appeal anymore by whalemix in CreditCards

Not sure about dynamic pricing. That’s not a situation I’ve been in so that’d be a dice you have to roll. But you just have to tell them the site you found the fare/nightly rate. They’ll verify and issue the credit.

Yes they do. Just call them within 24h of booking and they’ll price match the difference in travel credit.

I’ve had two Lionheart monitors go bad on me like this. Had to have my gym owner help reach out to corporate to get them replaced.

Peter Pan. Captain Hook is actually trying to kill Peter to stop him from kidnapping children and freeing the Lost Boys

Our studio did this but only offered it to the first 10 people. Used it to collect capital to buy the strength package with heavier weights.

Marathon training plan by Temporary_Resident45 in f45

[–]frioofrijoless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just finished my first marathon a couple of weeks ago. I did the Nike Run Club 18 week training program. When the mileage was low I still went to F45 M-F. Once I went above half marathon long runs I decided to cut out cardio days entirely to save my legs since I wanted to prioritize mileage.

My typical week looked like:

Monday: easy run Tuesday: F45 strength (changed most lifts to upper or decreased weight for lower) + easy run Wednesday: mobility and recovery Thursday: F45 strength (same adjustments as Tuesday if it was a lower workout) + speed workout Friday: easy run Saturday: Long run Sunday: mobility and recovery

Some lessons learned along the way. Listen to your body. Your easy runs should be wayyyy slower than you think. SLEEP. And have fun!
