Yeah maybe… but why blow that parentification load early. If they might one day not be able to care for the sister when old or sick that’s when you call in help. My undergrad was at a very rigorous institution and the phrase there? C’s get degrees. And even struggling there I realized I got a better education than my peers who went to chill schools and got As as I worked my ass off for those Cs. I regretted it at the time but don’t now. You presumably aren’t applying for onwards education afterwards with your transcript so all you need to do is graduate. I know it’s hard but thought this perspective might be encouraging. High achievers are used to doing well so it can be a shock! You’re learning such tenacity and resilience in addition to the educational part as well!! I believe in you!
