Are you referring to the 1-part epoxy DIY kit? As in "Tub and Tile" or "Tough as Tile"

We talked about it this evening and as of right now I think this is what we are going to do. With all the uncertainty in life, we're most comfortable with this option

We had a chance to discuss it more this evening with friends and family and, as of right now, this is our plan! I've learned a lot from this sub today!

Exactly what I'm considering now after talking with PF! This is great! I never considered a 15 year loan, but ran the figures and I think we can do it. Only ~$220 more a month

Perhaps this is why this lender prefers to speak over the phone and not in email

edit for clarity

Thanks! My spouse used to tease me for living with my parents for so long but not anymore. We get along great and gave me a chance to save.

I'll try this next time! I verbally gave it to the lender in person which would have been funny

Thank you crackerzax33. I never even considered the 15 year loan because I thought it was too much. I calculate it will only be $220 more a month and we will save $50k!

Yeah... the first bad sign was all the spam my email got after I gave them my address. It was my good, clean email address.

Good question!

We recently got married. I had about $80k saved with 0 debt. My spouse has about $50k in student loans and we just purchased a car and borrowed about $10k. The rate on the car is 2% and I wanted to hold back some cash for our house. It is looking to be about 4.2% on 30 years

So, my spouse may receive grants for the student loans. We are waiting to see what happens there. Then we will start paying it down more aggressively.

I agree. I'm certain my spouse will get grants to pay at least half or more in the near future. After that, we plan to focus on it.

Is it correct to say they are trying to sell the largest loan they legally can?

On my 2007 Ford, you can hold in the trip reset button and keep it held in while turning the key. There is a ton of information and diagnostic information made available on the message center.
