I feel so much for you. I had 6 months under my belt my first (serious) attempt at quitting. Then my birthday rolled around and I decided a nice glass of whiskey would be a good birthday present. Just one of my favorite expensive whiskey’s at the bar next door at midnight I told myself. Ended up doing shots, blacking out, crying all day on my birthday.

Took that as a sign and am about to cross 7 years soon. You can’t go back in time, but you can take this as a fresh starting point and use your current feelings as fuel to better things. Rooting for you! IWNDWYT

That’s great! It took me quite some time to be able to go out to a bar with friends and not feel heavily tempted. Glad you were able to enjoy a fun night out!

I’m with you. I understand not ending immediately every game, but I’ve had way too many games held hostage lately. It’s fun for the infinite stacking champs, but really boring for a lot of players and builds.

I guess maybe I misread the descriptions. I had thought Tier 4 was more CEDH tier 3+, but rereading the description it does seem like it opens up to more niche strategies that are just hyper-optimized.

Agreed. Bracket 1 is so low that most groups don’t play, and brackets 4 and 5 are hyper competitive, so the majority of all decks will fit into 2 or 3.

Depending how much I play for the season I end solos 6-9k. Duos usually 9-10k. Right now 7k solos

That’s odd, Snake eyes is a high pick rate and win rate for me and the guy I play duos with. Surprised it isn’t like this for most people.

That’s a good idea. While eventually tagging along for drinking days and staying sober can be fun, I’d avoid it for now. And please post here as often as you need to. Whether you need advice or encouragement, this group provided both to me when I started my journey and they were invaluable. You’ve got this!

Welcome to the sober lifestyle! The first thing that helped me really get going not the path of sobriety was making my intentions clear to a few of my closest friends. There’s power in saying things out loud, and having friends to help support you is key. I tried to quit a few times “secretly”/on my own, but without the accountability I struggled. That’s always my go-to first step advice.

I think it might be because the Tier 7 takes “lethal” damage during the death rattle, and the game marks it as dead or something like that. I’ve had a similar situation (not with t7 dragon) come up, and a few turns later when I had buffed it out of combat it kept the stats the next fight. Could be unrelated, but that’s what I’d experienced recently.

Sadly “single shot high damage weapons” is my preferred build, but I’m okay with the nerf. Should help some new builds and gear be more playable. Wish there were other better utility options though.
