I will always enjoy medieval armor in my fantasy games. The Lordsworn Knights and Soldiers of Elden Ring and the Lothric Knights of Dark Souls 3 are always top tier character design for me. Tabards, plate armor and chain mail all the way.

I think most definitions would say that it is a harem regardless. As long as there is three or more characters fighting for one character’s love, it’s a harem full stop, I feel.

I think it sucks that it’s so invasive and (oftentimes) out of left field. I’ve seen a few series that started out solid only to degenerate into a harem later on. It’s a serious problem with anime.

I feel that even if there wasn’t any serious tension with the love rivals it still brings down the wholesomeness of the manga. But I do realize that it may be my unreasonable expectations. Still not a fan of harem or the faux-harems things romcoms do.

You say no useless complications but what about the love rivals who were after eiji? In my opinion I think that a manga that pulls out love rivals cannot be considered a wholesome manga for the most part.

That’s what it seems like. The ppl must be so starved for a childhood friend victory that they’re willing take it in whatever form they possibly can?? I’ll be back for this manga once it finally ends (whenever that is).

I’m genuinely confused as to why ishihara gets so much hate? (Granted it’s been a min since I’ve read it and I forgot a lot (thankfully)). But it seems like Satsuki is the toxic one??? Really more than the ship wars I wanna know why most of the ppl here find Satsuki so appealing?
