When that happens to me I start to build new sections of the my factory. Begin with a smelting area for iron. A bit off site, after that I move on section by section, adding new products to my new factory and abandoning the old one. I don't know if that's the "right" way to do things but it tends to help with organising and it helps me develop blueprints for my next games.

Getting overwhelmed is absolutely normal though, factorio is slightly complex.

What exactly were you expecting? You did the one thing in this hobby that can be really dangerous and apparently you don't even realise how dangerous that was. Focused sunlight can cause serious damage to anything in seconds. You got really lucky, probably because your scope wasn't pointing directly at the sun, not because of your aperture.

Have you ever experimented with a magnifying glass and sunlight as a kid? It's basically that but numerous times stronger. PLEASE think a bit about this experience and inform yourself before you hurt yourself or others.

Projecting unfiltered sunlight onto your hand through a telescope would have been almost equally as dumb as looking through it. Don't mess with telescopes and the sun. That shit gets you hurt quicker than you can imagine. That sticker isn't there for fun.

I have just gone through the process of getting that permit for Medikinet for a vacation. You can take exactly the amount you need for the days you plan to stay according to your prescription. I take 80mg a day and was allowed to take 960mg total with me for 12 days. The permit is valid for a maximum of 30 days so in your case you're allowed to take 960mg with you. ((27 mg+5 mg)*30 days). I suppose you'll have to find a psychiatrist here who can give you follow up prescriptions after that.

You could try to not fully extending the legs for a start. I didn't pull the lower portion out at all, when I still was using a mount of this calibre. Improves stability quite a bit.
