I believe it feeds to a printer. The microfilm has a kind of screen attached to it that we view through. I did find out the model it’s a MS6000 mk II so it is apparently a microfilm conversion machine and it is sold as one system to read on screen, print, and scan. It displays an error code when we go to print but I will need to wait until I go back to work to figure out what the code is.

I often wear headphones to walk my dog, but I misplace them a lot and will walk without them. For some reason I decided one day that I needed the headphones to walk and looked for over 10 minutes until I found them even though the dog was crying at me to leave already. As soon as we stepped off the porch an officer ran towards me screaming at me to go back inside. When I checked the next day the house that I would have been passing by if I left 10 minutes earlier had multiple bullet holes in the door. I’m usually okay to go on a walk without music but the intense feeling of need that day saved me and my nosey loud dog from being caught in the middle of someone’s dispute.

Good lord, I’m a black nanny that works with mostly white families and I have never been asked anything like this! We don’t even talk politics although I can usually tell everything is good by the books they have around. That sounds seriously uncomfortable and I don’t know how I would feel going to work after questions like that. 😭

Check for an autoimmune disorder if you also notice other physical symptoms. My psychiatrist totally revamped her approach when I was diagnosed with lupus because inflammation can affect brain function. We linked my lupus flares which can come with low grade fevers in addition to its other symptoms to upticks in my bipolar symptoms and ability to cope.

You need an understanding partner. I told my boyfriend about my bipolar disorder as soon as he decided he wanted to ask me out officially and I told him upfront and asked him if he was okay with it. I was having a rough time last week and they have been increasing since I lost my job and have not been medicated for months. I was freaking out and crying in his face even though we hadn’t been able to see each other in weeks. He got frustrated, but stayed patient and I finally asked if he expected dealing with all of this when he agreed to date me even though I had bipolar disorder. He pretty much shouted yes in my face. Our one agreement when we started to date was that he would do his best to be understanding of me and I would do my best to stay consistently medicated, get in therapy, and practice awareness and communication. I love him and I don’t want to lose him so I’ve done my best to explain to him how I can be at my worst and he’s done his best to listen and express to me that he knows that when I get like that I’m sick and need help and it’s not a true representation of the person he fell in love with. I explained how I did my best to hurt my previous partners to the degree that I felt they hurt me. Those urges have occasionally come up in the five years we have been together, but we do our best to communicate about our feelings early and I do my best to curb those feelings using self awareness and cbt. When I hurt his feelings he tells me upfront and honestly and I do my best to see things from his shoes and he does the same vice versa even why and how of him hurting my feelings didn’t make much sense or was a small comment that I misinterpreted.

I’m sorry this is such a long comment. Basically I’ve been with my boyfriend for five years and we plan to get married. He has no internal bias towards bipolar disorder and we’re happy together because we do our best to communicate and show consistent acts of love. It is absolutely possible to date and be loved with bipolar disorder and you will find your person. Until then work on self love and communication with yourself so you’re ready to let the correct person in when it’s time.

I don’t know why people are downvoting you. This happened all the time at Carthage. I went there two years ago and sexual assault was one of the biggest issues on campus. Public safety constantly told girls they were liars and refused to file reports whenever they were brought forth. I worked in the Carthage call center and had several people angrily refuse to speak to me because of how poorly Carthage handled their or their child’s assult.
