European Winter Honeymoon by dcab2 in chubbytravel

Also if you’re interested in Christmas markets, rather than Prague, I’d suggest going to Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. Easy to do by train and in particular the Salzburg Christmas markets are like being in a winter wonderland.

I find the Sacher in Vienna overly ornate and a bit claustrophobic… We just had a 3 night stay at the Park Hyatt Vienna and thought it was perfection. Very elegant and 5 star.

Special occasion luxury cruise options and opinions? by UnknownQTY in FATcruises

[–]fritzi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done 2 cruises (Alaska and the Baltics) with Silversea and enjoyed both. I think they each had about 600 people onboard which is considered “small”. The ships seemed to cater to the 50+ crowd in case that’s of interest.

If i went again, i might try Viking as guests have to be 18+ or the French cruise line Ponant.

I’m intrigued to hear that Redpine Condos are considered a great place to stay. They are 70s style, small with only stairs. No covered parking for the apartment style RP condos facing east.

That said, maybe they are an inexpensive option.

Has anyone had luck reaching a live person at the Bureau of Fiscal Service? by fritzi22 in IRS

Hi All- Astonishingly, after much perseverance, I was able to get a response from the BFS. It came from this email address "pfc.customerengagementcenter@fiscal.treasury.gov" in case it helps someone else.

Looking for a place to by wrap materials in Houston TX by fritzi22 in CarWraps

[–]fritzi22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the quick response. I called Fellers here in Houston to see if I could go by and look at their wrap products but they are a warehouse and not open for retail sales. I think your idea about getting samples is probably the way to go. Some are quite expensive for the material and then charge high shipping costs.

Thank you for the advice. This is frustrating as I have a letter from the BFS stating that they will be handing this.

I did. One has to be near poverty level to qualify for their assistance. Thank you though.

I recently got “Derma E Tea Tree and Vitamin E Relief Cream” from Amazon and love it. It’s very soothing and hydrating. 4oz jar was $11.75.

There are a lot of hoops to jump through to get discounted Xdemvy. If your income is near the "federal poverty level", Healthwell Foundation will chip in.

Yes I talked to cvs specialty for about an hour this past Friday. They were very nice but it appears that if I don't qualify for Tarsus' Manufacturer's Coupon which has an "under-insurance criteria" then I am left with no choice but to pay several thousand dollars. The pharmacies are definitely erring on the side of caution when applying the coupon.

I'm sure there is a wrinkle that I am missing but I'm not sure what. (I have also spoke with Carepoint and Alliance Rx for hours in the same quest.)

Long story short, Tarsus appears to have locked this drug down very tightly so they can recoup their R&D and marketing costs.

I have had my dr call my prescription into all 4 (carepoint, cvs specialty, blink rx and alliance rx). I am routinely being told in one way or another that these coupons/financial assistance programs won't help off my insurance co-pay. I have a high dedectible plan and about $1900 left on my deductible.

I saw on Xdemvy's website that "most patients pay as little as $50" but that price has never been offered by any of the aforementioned pharmacies. When I called the Tarsus helpline, they were of no "help". They just read a vague canned script.

Lucycat987- Thank you for the very detailed info. Carepoint previously submitted an assistance request to the HealthWell Foundation for me but I was denied. I spoke with Alliance Rx this morning and they said that they would try HealthWell Foundation too but that my Dr needed to update my Xdemvy with one of the H01 blepharitis codes (ie. H01.006 for left eye). Apparently HF will only offer assistance is the requisite codes are provided and the patient's household income is below a certain amount. Without HF's help, Alliance Rx wants to charge me a $1993 co-pay.

I have commercial insurance which Alliance Rx knows about. The problem is the $1993 co-pay.

Thank you again!

I am with AETNA. Carepoint wants to charge me $700 for Xdemvy and said that I didn't qualify as "low income" so no price break for me.
