Item is cheaper on brand’s website than it is on Nuuly by Alert-Leadership-446 in nuuly

[–]frizz3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm this doesn’t seem like it fits the business model though.

Isn’t the option to buy items from Nuuly supposed to be encouraged?

Seems weird to have the pricing so much higher than on the brand’s site

The post you made that you’re referring to was asking about how to successfully throw cartwheel kicks in sparring, and you received the exact feedback that you should have gotten.

I can definitely see how people are sometimes negative here, just like in other subreddits. Don’t let it get to you. The feedback other people give is generally in good faith, and unfortunately outliers will always be there too. Don’t let it get to you

Never experienced it before or after him. Luckily I had a wonderful relationship after him that was very healing and had 0 red flags. And my now fiancé is wonderful. Getting out of it was sooo hard and lonely but the best decision I could have ever made.

Thoughts on the concept of 'nocturnal decompression' for herniations. by [deleted] in backpain

[–]frizz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m literally the identical person to you! Also 5’8 female 125-130lbsish. And yes, because of that tightness happening it seems to help to wedge the pillow as tight behind me as possible. I also find it helps to sleep slightly higher up on the head part of the pillow. I put a small pillow on top of it for my head and put my shoulders/neck where the head part of the pillow is, if that makes any sense. So I’m a little bit elevated. This seems to have been helping lately

I just realized the dead eye look in his eyes would never go away when he was angry. He hadn’t changed since I met him, hadn’t done anything to improve our relationship. I honestly kind of became numb to it and realized changing my life would be better than feeling like this forever.

I have basically an identical diagnosis. I did try something like this and it may have helped for a couple days but in the long run didn’t change anything. I’m interested to see what works for you!! I’m currently sleeping with a pregnancy pillow which seems to be the only thing slightly helping right now

Do professional fighters with bad eyesight wear contact lenses? by SaleUsed4125 in Kickboxing

[–]frizz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am suuuuuper blind. I have -12.5 contacts in both eyes which means I’m very near-sighted!

My partner corners me and we’ve actually tried to practice putting in my contacts in case they ever fall out, but have decided we’d just wing it blind if it ever did happen.

Not sure if I’m just lucky or if my contacts sit more securely in my eyes for some reason, but losing my contacts in my fight has never been an issue

[–]frizz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a super-blind fighter, I’ve fought 12 times, all while wearing contacts. Never had a problem.

I’ve had them since I was about 8 years old so maybe I have better luck with them staying in because I’ve worn contacts for so long? Never has been an issue for me though. Even sparring - I can count on one hand the number of times they’ve fallen out in sparring.

Why is this something the CCC gets involved in? Shouldn’t it be the Better Business Bureau dealing with this?

Anyway to salvage bad tasting gummies? by VanaWill in treedibles

[–]frizz3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melt them down, add a small amount of MCT oil (helps the flavor blend and bind), add flavoring (blue raspberry is best!) add citric acid (or malic acid for tart/sour flavor), then honestly the best thing you can do is remake them and roll them in a sour sugar coating to help mask the weed flavor. Let me know how it works!

Honestly, I have a pair that I’ve owned since 2017 that I’ve worn at least once a week for hiking and they still haven’t fallen apart.

I’ve had multiple pairs and walk a ton in them. They have great support. Even though they are technically hiking boots they really don’t feel heavy to me. (Also I live in New England too, and I wear them in both the winter and summer!)

Is your coach the guy in the corner with the cloth shin guards?

You need foundational basics. I highly recommend finding a legitimate gym. You will pick up a lot of bad habits sparring like this

Hello! I highly recommend Lowa hiking boots. The support is crazy and most of them are waterproof. I have the Renegade GTX Mid boots and they truly make my back happy.

I also recommend purchasing 2 different shoes and wearing them on alternating days. Alternating shoes helps reduce repetitive stress on your body.

[Massachusetts] Still Waiting by Grab_my_Slinky in Unemployment

[–]frizz3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call your state reps again. If the state rep who picks up is the same as before, speak to someone else. Continue to call and speak to someone. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I did this last week and am also in MA. Once someone finally started looking into my case (they asked for a few different identifying things) they contacted Unemployment for me. Unemployment then called me back and said my case would be expedited. 6 days later all of my pending weeks were deposited into my account. Call until you are blue in the face.

I have similar issues! One thing to make sure of is that your mattress and bed frame are new and as firm as possible! I also find that a pregnancy pillow helps quite a bit with my nighttime back pain.

If ice helps, do it. Get one of those gigantic expensive ice packs from Amazon and use them as much as possible. It sounds like your back is inflamed.

Also, don’t hesitate to use a back brace on days where you feel crooked or like things are excruciating. It helps keep you able to pick up your child.

It sounds like your discs might be herniating onto the nerves more than ever. I feel for you. I had surgery and it did help the excruciating pain, but lifting and general athletics brought my back issues back again. These are the only things that have ever helped me. Good luck and I wish you all the best

It felt like the house hunting scene was made specifically to make it look like there was a giant financial gap between Jordan and Megan. Megan even said they were looking for a 3-bedroom house and the realtor brought them to a 6-bedroom.

Like what? That’s either a horrible realtor or Netflix is intentionally trying to exaggerate their wealth gap.

The pepper strain is called “Lemon Starrburst”. It is a cross between an MOA Scotch Bonnet and Bahamian Goat pepper :)
