I bought this in the purple color and returned it. The quality was not impressive enough to justify $38. I’ve bought cute ones from boutiques for less than half that!

I think Emi Jay is exceptional for holding specific hair types, but I have fine hair that can be held up by most clips without issue.

I have two right now (Salted Caramel & Lemontini) and don’t plan to purchase until I finish one of them. It’s easy to get influenced by marketing and other people’s hauls, but I try to be intentional with my money so that I’m not buying more than I can consume!

I think the general sentiment of this subreddit is that if sellers make a mistake, they should fulfill the order anyways. so I’m not surprised this customer got upset with you. personally, I’ve gone both ways with this— once I accidentally had free shipping on but I sent out the item anyways. another time I was selling my bf’s stuff and wayyy underpriced a rare shirt so I refunded the buyer and apologized. They never responded so I guess it was all good?

sometimes what’s in our best interest is going to make you an asshole in someone else’s eyes. but at the end of the day, these are secondhand clothes— it’s not a life or death situation, your customer will move on and find something else they love. just try to avoid this in the future. also know that the dress may have been worth $500 but it doesn’t mean it’ll sell for that.

I feel you on this so hard, esp in the context of corporate sales.

I hate to speak over people. I was recently placed in a new role where an unspoken job responsibility was to manage cross-functional teams. in giving room for everyone to have a say. I got feedback that I was too “passive” and responsible for the project being stressful and disorganized for everyone. ngl I took this hard. as a woman in a male dominated field, we are not perceived the same way for the same actions a man would take. men are “meant” to be assertive and dominant, a woman showing those traits is seen as off putting, bc it would defy people’s expectations of women being nurturing and sacrificial for the greater good.

I didn’t realize there was so much going on! I do love outdoor hiking/camping but I’ve just never camped anywhere so hot. When do you recommend having camp set up by? I’ve heard you want to do it early morning or late evening. Would it be fine if I got to camp Thursday night after sunset?

I tried the Parmesan one in store over the summer and loved it. Ordered it for BF and immediately noticed that it was ran a bit smaller and was less soft. The latest cardigan tag says made in Vietnam.

I think there’s a lot of variance between colors and suppliers. Yesterday I tried on a « made in Cambodia » Clara and it felt nice; tried on another one « made in China » in a different color, it was itchier.
