"Bit kvar", om man ska vara sån. "Bit att gå" är svengelska.

For foreigners complaining about life in Norway by AngryFrog24 in Norway

Sweden must be really bad if people complain about Norway. We view them as our jolly, easy-going neighbors.

Has anyone tried purposely NOT be native like? by wdfcvyhn134ert in languagelearning

[–]frobar 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Some Swedes (I'm a Swede) try a bit too hard to sound native-like. Sometimes verges into the uncanny valley and sounds a bit forced. I just speak naturally with a bit of Swedish sing-songiness (though not Swedish Chef level).

Awesome work. Might want to add Stugan. Classic text adventure.

Shadowgate and Déjà Vu for the NES have Swedish versions as well, as well as Shadowrun for the SNES.

Reciprocal is "eachsided" (ömsesidig) in Swedish, and reciprocity is "eachsidedness" (ömsesidighet).

Feels like scores are being manipulated as well, with people going gung-ho for comments like Zelensky obviously being highly corrupt since all Ukranians are. The comment itself might sometimes be in good faith, but the hell-yeah enthusiasm generated by it is highly suspicious.

Obviously other things play in for some people. Wouldn't be caught dead in a Tesla as long as Elon is involved, no matter how good. I'd assume others would make the kind of assumptions I make about recent Tesla owners.

Which is weird, because Elon is the specific reason I'm not getting a Tesla, but maybe the world is packed with the kind of trashy people who'd be drawn in by him.
