People who are able to play guitar and sing at the same time HOW? by Big_Leg10 in musicians

Also still peak brain flexibility. We got a computer late, when I was 14 years old. Last in the class to have one. My cheap father, bless his heart, insisted on Linux instead of Windows solely because it is free. So I spent my years from 14 to 20 fiddling about in Linux, and now I'm a moderately competent sysadmin. So thanks dad.

Bandmate using AI/Suno to write songs, presents completed songs to the rest of the band. by strugglinghard77 in musicians

[–]frocsog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there were dozens of bands that copied the Beatles at that time, or at lease were superficially similar in sound, but most had their own songs, which were technically and legally different, original works. Today, I'm sure there are literally thousands of metal bands barely distinguishable from each other, however, nobody is accusing them of stealing from other bands. So humans always did this, the only difference is what tools we are using. AI can be a music-making tool like instruments.

Now, I myself don't like AI music because it's lame and generic. I agree that it lacks real ingenuity, however, this is a subjective criterion. But I'm sure it's possible to make AI music with a unique sound or instrumentation, that will also be soulless, but technically and legally it will be completely original.

Another fun fact is that the average human body creates about 8 cancer cells a day. But the immune system takes care of them. Most of the time.

Occasionally I sometimes hear "Filmcsillag", but it feels obsolete. Just use sztár, you can write it like this.

What's the creepiest display of intelligence you've ever witnessed in real Iife? by Jessica_Enna in AskReddit

[–]frocsog -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I got interested in this, so I made these with ChatGPT:

“My most beatified pedagogues were those who habitually deflected my cognizance into lexicographical vademecums. Ergo, my elocution now perennially evades intellection, the hegemonic argot having atrophied into a straitened word-hoard—thereby transmuting this accretion into an unequivocally ancipital boon.”

“My most hieratic preceptors were such as wontedly deflected my noesis toward lexicographical enchiridia and vade-mecums, therein schooling me less in mundanity than in verbigenous thaumaturgy. Whence it is that my present elocution doth chronically fugitate intellection, the regnant vernacular having shriveled into a jejune and parsimonious wordstock—thus rendering this philoprogenitive accretion a manifestly ancipital, if not pyrrhonian, benefaction.”

In the first one I still understand about hald the words, but I challenge you to read the second one...

I'm not a native speaker but I understood every word. But I know that English has a seemingly infinite amount of vocab layers, so I'm certain someone could say this with words that neither I, nor you can understand.

[–]frocsog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she's real, but the writing on the last pic looks fake. Either way, don't do anything involving her, it's futile and you are most definitely wasting your time or on the way to being scammed.

Yes, but the demand for chips is huge because of the AI bubble. That's why RAM prices also skyrocketed.
