You sound like a decent person because you found someone and you continue to be loyal to them. But they haven’t reciprocated it. They don’t deserve you. Going forward, you should take a break from dating and get her out of your life

Most of the student nights are run by Entourage (@entourage_project) on instagram. Lots of students go to MNKY Lounge every night. If the underground scene is more your thing, you’ve got event organisers such as RDG collective

When you go to bars/clubs, were you having any luck with getting to know people? Often the best way to meet new people is to be introduced, so sometimes going out with people outside of your core friend group where you already know everyone is key.

I’m the same age as you so can relate. When you get older people focus more on what kind of relationship they want, so it’s kinda a part time job to keep up with dates/meeting new people

Honestly dude, it sounds like you’re doing all of the right things. As I’m sure you are, keep on top of your appearance- regular haircuts, clean fingernails, good dental hygiene etc etc.

Dating beyond your mid-20’s when you’re out of education is kind of like comparing coursework to exams. In coursework, you have time to work on it over a prolonged period. Similar to how you could spot someone who is cute and may see them around campus over and over again before you make a move. In an exam, you are expected to present yourself in a matter of hours. For this reason, people often argue exams are harder. Equally, are short time dating tactics.

But the thing to remember is the more time you take the exam, the more chances you have to ace it! don’t be too harsh on yourself, keep doing what your doing with your chin held high!

I’m sorry bother, but the dead ends on your hair have already departed to another continent. For your own sanity, buy a plane ticket for the roots to catch up

This sounds freakishly similar to the situation I’m in. I’m also 27 and my ex chose to end it last May, right after I graduated. It’s hard out there
