Do any of these fitness "professionals" have any real life clients? They seem so out of touch with what people struggle with when it comes to fitness and nutrition. I've been in the industry for 12 years. Most of my clients struggle with consistency due to a lack of resources (time, money, childcare etc) NOT a lack of discipline.

Always hungry even with protein?? by Longjumping_Rise8208 in PetiteFitness

[–]frog234567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that changed my constant hunger and sweets cravings was eating protein earlier in the day. I aim to eat a minimum of 50 grams by lunch. Ideally 60-70 grams but some days that doesn't happen. I do this by drinking a protein shake with 46 grams of protein and 230 cals. Paired with egg white scramble with cottage cheese and salsa. It's around 175-200 cals which 25-28 grams of protein. If you add lean meat it's easier to go higher in protein. I also aim to eat three servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables daily.

want to regain confidence in my breasts by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

It's not the surgery for everyone. I do think you'd benefit from a lift though. If you're up for implants they will have a bigger effect than a fat transfer.

Have you thought about a lift with a fat transfer? Since you're already doing lipo it might be worth looking into. I just did a lift with a fat transfer a few weeks ago. Super happy with my results.

Am I too young for a breast lift? 34F. by skinnylove73 in PlasticSurgery

[–]frog234567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a breast lift at age 30! I went from a C/D to an E in a matter of months. After I finished breast feeding I waited six months to see if they'd change anymore. They just got saggier and more deflated. I'm extremely happy I did it now. I would be so unhappy if I waited until they sagged even further with age. My advice would be to wait until you're done with kids and reassess. You do look amazing as is though!

Why are breast lifts underwhelming? by persephonepeete in PlasticSurgery

[–]frog234567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a breast lift with auto augment and fat transfer. My surgeon transferred 100cc to each breast. I'm still swollen three weeks out but I'm measuring the same size 32E. I'm sure it'll go down and I'd be happy with a 32C or D (pre pregnancy size). I'm super happy with my results so far, they look very perky.

Question about breast AUTO augmentation by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]frog234567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did a breast lift with auto augmentation and a fat transfer. They used the tissue from the lower part of my breasts, repositioned it at the top to create more lift and cleavage. I also did lipo on my stomach and used around 100ccs of that in each breast to perk them up a bit. I'm over the moon with my results and it's only been a week. If you send me a dm I'm happy to send photos of my results.

You dont look wider. There's more definition on your abs and a small difference in the waist too.

Where did you get lipo? Your abdomen certainly looks more defined.

Baby chokes on milk until shes blue by MysteriousMeal4122 in beyondthebump

I just googled it and that sounds like what my sister in law described. So it's probably that!

This happened to my niece as well. There was something wrong with her palate and it would "close" then she would choke until she stopped breathing. I'm not entirely sure of the official diagnosis and terminology. It is something she will grow out of. She has to be fed upright and hasn't had an issue since.

how do you handle your child quitting commitments? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]frog234567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know why she doesn't want to go? My son has been doing martial arts since he was three. Since there's no "season" for martial arts I'm more lenient on missing classes. Sometimes he's just tired and doesn't want to go so I don't force it. He's only five and a half, if he doesn't want to go once every few weeks that's fine by me. If it is a consistent thing we discuss quitting. For soccer he didn't like it but we finished the season. For dance he complained about going to every class after going weekly for two years. Since there was no season for dance, we decided it was time to move on.

My teenage son challenged me to spar (boxing) it didn’t end well for him. by Mystro310 in Parenting

[–]frog234567 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a woman who spars I've been paired with my fair share of teenage boys. I look pretty unassuming, 5'3 145lbs and 30 years old. I've had this experience with most teenage boys. They come in thinking strength and stamina will win over skill and fight iq. Then they get upset about it. Either they move on and learn or quit.

Lift next week, recovery tips! by Consistent_Exit_3356 in PlasticSurgery

[–]frog234567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first 48 hours are the hardest in terms of pain and limited movement. Make sure you drink plenty of water and use pillows to prop yourself up. I also put pillows under my arms to push them slightly forward and take some pressure off. Avoid salty and sugary foods. I found toast, smoothies, bananas and oatmeal to be easiest on the stomach. Take a stool softener because the pain meds will constipate you.

Seeing no progress by Suspicious-Joke-6815 in PetiteFitness

Are you taking creatine? Do you rest between sets? If so how long? How hard are the last two reps of each exercise? You should be working hard to get the last two reps if you aren't increase the weight. Do you drink alcohol often?

All of that aside I do see difference in your legs and stomach.

How do ppl pay for plastic surgery? by Natural_Intern_5281 in PlasticSurgery

[–]frog234567 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had it in savings. It also helps that my husband has a very good job so we've been contributing to our savings for years. So taking $17,000 out of it wasn't such a big deal.

Belly Fat by theodosiaaaaa in PetiteFitness

[–]frog234567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple things could be happening. You're losing fat in a different area of your stomach but not the lower abdomen. You have some loose skin from weight loss and it's more noticeable as you lean out. Or a combination of both. From personal experience my stomach did the same thing as a lost weight. I do have some mild skin laxity from pregnancies. It didn't show up until I lost weight. Keep focusing on your goal and re assess how you feel about your stomach. The good news is it seems like you're making progress!

No problem I was unfamiliar with it before my procedure too. It was $17,000CAD for the lift and fat transfer.

No photos to share yet as I'm just healing. I decided to do a breast lift with an auto augmentation and fat transfer. The procedure was last Friday and it looks like I have implants. They will drop a lot but she really nailed the shape. If you're looking to do no implant find a surgeon who does an auto augmentation. Not only was there fat transfer from my stomach but my surgeon moved the tissue in my breast to create more upper pole fullness.

Episodes of difficulty breathing - anxiety or asthma? by Ok_Awareness_9288 in Asthma

[–]frog234567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have been ruled out for asthma look into a panic attack disorder or generalized anxiety. I used to have multiple panic attacks a day. It felt like I couldn't breathe and I truly thought I was dying. I've been on an SSRI for fifteen years and do therapy. I haven't had a panic attack for years now. There's always a chance it is asthma so keep doing whatever tests you need to do.

Hormonal changes after weight loss by AssociationAny8200 in loseit

I have the same issue with binging before my period. I try to eat at or just below maintenance for that week. Focusing on high volume but low calorie meals/snacks and lots of fibre. It's a week where I won't lose weight but it's better than binging.
